Three Things You Must Do Before You Submit To Article Directories
I recently read a forum post asking why some of the older marketing methods like ezine ads and banner ads don't work as well anymore.
Here's the deal: Some of the old methods do work. But they don't work as well anymore. Eventually, new methods will emerge and email marketing might die in a decade, who knows. We have to move with the times.
Nobody uses a pager these days, simply because it is outdated and there are better solutions for communication. You wouldn't drive an older car when there's a newer, better, more comfortable one too.
With an offline business, price changes and customer tastes can affect your business. Online, technology is the main thing that intervenes. It helps you but it is also your enemy.
Think about those people who used Ebay to generate leads by selling digital products. Well now they've had to adapt and make changes. Will their new tactics work as well? Maybe. Chances are, they'll probably be worse off.
We have to move with the times. Milk what's good now for what it's worth. Then adapt. When people are having success with a strategy, it means you can duplicate them. That fact will never change.
So read up on new marketing strategies when you find them. Don't get stuck behind. Try some of these new Web 2.0 methods that you keep hearing about. Maybe they are long-term strategies, who knows? YouTube is going to be around for a long time to come, and video marketing does work. So adapt, or die, as they say!
