Article Marketing - Where to Submit Your Articles

What is Article Marketing?

In its simplest form, article marketing is a type of advertising through which a business writes short articles related to its respective industry. Once written, the business makes these articles freely available for distribution and publication in the marketplace. Each article contains a 'bio box' and 'by-line' which include references and contact information for the author's business. Well written content articles released for free distribution have the potential of gaining the author business credibility within his or her market, as well as new clients.*

It is easy to see the value of article marketing, if you understand that each time the article is published, you get free backlinks from your author box. The articles are not likely to get published on PR 9 sites, but a hundred links from PR 0-5 sites can build your PageRank. The more articles you publish, the more links you get.

How to Publish Your Articles?

There are some, who think you should only submit your articles to a few of the best article directories. They usually argue that 1. doing otherwise is only a waste of time, or 2. submitting the same article to more directories increases the amount of duplicate content, and makes your article rank even worse in search engines.

Now, on 1. I agree: you should not waste your time with low traffic article indexes, but submit to any that you think will benefit you. I have compiled a list of the most important ones for you below. On 2. however, I must totally disagree. The articles, if successful, will be published identical on a number of sites. Submitting to more directories only helps publishers find them, search engines are not going to ban the content any more than otherwise. Besides, I see backlinks as the most important use of articles, and submitting to directories always gives at least one link. Secondary traffic through articles coming up in search engines is only a bonus.

Where to Submit Them?

1. ArticleMarketer.com

They send your article out to publishers on their list. Submission to the complete publisher list is a paid service, but you can submit to the partial list with a free account. The only problem I have with Article Marketer is that they do not show the exposure information to free publishers.

2. EzineArticles.com

The largest directory with the most authors. You can get a free account with 10 submissions. Submit good articles and you may get a platinum account with unlimited submissions.

3. ArticleCodex.com

A newer and smaller directory, but Article Codex offers Revenue Sharing. You enter your AdSense publisher id, and your ads are shown on 50% of page loads on your articles. Profit while marketing your website. Articles are quickly accepted, unless they fail some formatting test.

4. ArticlesBase.com

Not very different from all the other article directories out there, but submission is easy, and articles get accepted easily. They have accepted all my articles without modification, and in just a couple of days.

Article Marketing Surefire Tips

Article marketing is reputedly one of the easiest and fastest way to drive traffic to your website be it a hobbyist or business website. It does not require you to mess with search engine algorithm or html, php or any other webpage design language. In essence, as long as you can write, you can pen an article and start seeing instant traffic. And the best parts are the traffic is targeted and absolutely free! Article marketing has other indirect benefits such as letting you establish yourself as an authoritative figure in your field and in search engine terms, improve your website link popularity and search engine ranking. Now is it starting to make sense to you to use article marketing in your website promotion strategy?

Article marketing has three parts to it. First part is keyword and content research. Second part is of course writing the content, and lastly article submission. Now among the three, I would prefer to write, but some people simply hate writing. But we know without a doubt that everyone hates the process of submitting articles. Fret not. We will learn some tips and tricks about article marketing and how to work around the article submission part.

Article Marketing Tip 1 Keyword and Content Research

Go to forums and read the posts there. You are sure to find out about the market needs and what are the peoples demands and problems. Next find a solution in the form of a product to meet that need or problem. If you already have a product, simply write from an angle of meeting that need. Article directories are also great places to do your market research. By browsing through the categories and looking at the articles written, you can grasp a brief idea of the current market demands.

Keyword research is very important. It makes your article look targeted to your audience and also improves your chance of getting the article indexed and ranked high in the search engines. This is what we call using indirect organic traffic or borrowed traffic.

Article Marketing Tip 2 Writing Article

As mentioned earlier, forums and article directories are the best places to find content. Other places include the search engines and offline resources like your local library or magazines. Magazines have done their own research so it is likely that their content is relevant to readers. Tap onto this opportunity.

If you hate to write or feel that your command of English is not strong enough, you can always pay a ghostwriter to write you an article. But dont get too lazy. You still need to give the guy your target keywords. You can find good writers at affordable rates at Scriptlance and Elance. The good thing about this is you get unique content.

Article Marketing Tip 3 Submitting Article

The power of article marketing is enhanced many fold by mass submission to numerous article directories, probably in the tune of hundreds.

You have basically three options to do so. One is to do it manually which would take tons of time and brainless monotony. But it is free. The second option is to pay an article submission service such as iSnare or The Phantom Writers to do that for you. But be mindful that it can add up quite a bit and strain your budget. The last option is still the most preferred using article submission software.

Nowadays, article submission software are affordable to almost everyone. In the long run, it is most cost effective to use an article submission software to expedite the submission of articles. Read more about article submission software at my blog and find out which are the most popular software in the market today.

This article may be freely reprinted or distributed in its entirety in any ezine, newsletter, blog or website. The author's name, bio and website links must remain intact and be included with every reproduction.

Article Marketing What the Experts Won't Tell You

The reason so many webmasters fail at article marketing is because they do not know the key points to the strategy. If you are writing with no proven direction then you are just wasting your time. It is imperative that you follow these proven steps if you want to start succeeding in your article marketing campaign.

- Providing your viewers with valuable information is essential. But alone it will not pave the way to article marketing success. Valuable information must be implemented by a personalized, eye-catching writing style. If you are not doing this then you are most likely losing loads of valuable clicks to your signature block.

- Create an eye-catching title. It is a proven fact that the title of your article is what makes it sell. There are so many webmasters simply wasting their time by creating a quality article only for it to sit in place and collect dust because of poor title writing. I find that using your keyword in the first three words of the title provides the best results.

- Take time when creating the signature block because this is the time to sell yourself and your product. Second to poor title creation, poor signature block writing is sure to point your viewers in other directions. When you write the signature block do not just place your name and the URL to your web site. You need to convince your viewers that they need to click on that link or they are missing out on something big.

- Now that you have created an eye-catching article with a signature block that tells your viewers they better click or they will miss out; you need to find places to submit it to. Many people believe that mass distribution is the way to go. What they do not know is that laziness does not pay off. Search engines do not like to find the same content over hundreds of sites; most being low ranking. What they do like to find is the same content on five or six high quality sites. This says that the content is worthy of high search engine placement. Find the top five or six article directories and submit to them only.

Article Marketing Your Way To Success In Internet Marketing

Article marketing is how regular people get their message heard by (literally) millions of potential customers and can be the best, most certain, cost effective way to reach a specifically targeted pool of potential customers. Article marketing is known as the white-hat way to get noticed by the search engines and reach your target market and is considered a viral marketing method because from a single article one can obtain dozens or even hundreds of references to their name and website, which is why article marketing is regarded as a highly effective marketing tactic. Article marketing can be easy to master and takes just a fraction of the time to master compared to some other of the best techniques used today.

Articles

Articles are a great way to faithfully drive traffic to your website and are not necessarily difficult to write and they can vary in depth, length, and quality. Articles that are interesting and informative will act like a magnet to draw targeted traffic direct to your website in both the short term and the long term. Articles written for mass-distribution to article directories are one method of Article Marketing and can be a great way to bring traffic to your site and increase your search engine positioning. Articles can be submitted online to article directories and publishers quite easily which can mean producing traffic to your site at the touch of a button. This can be a very cost efficient way of website promotion.

Content

Content articles are an unbeatable way to generate links, boost your search engine rankings, find new prospects and open up a flood of targeted traffic direct to your web site. You ultimate goal is to write an article, and submit it to article directories, content publishers, e-groups and forums around the Web. Successful internet marketers have learned that content gets into the mindset of potential buyers. From its very early days, people have used this global network of computers to exchange content on a myriad of topics with people around the globe, around the corner, across the quad, or just down the hall. Article marketing allows you to post your content (along with a link to your site) on other people's sites, piggybacking on their marketing efforts. Whether or not you write it yourself, you'll want content that your target audience wants to read and if successful leaves them wanting to know more of your chosen subject.

Writing

Writing articles that peeks a readers interest and provides quality and helpful information is a great way to build your online business and personal reputation. Writing and submitting articles can be done for very little to no cost. Writing your own articles and publishing them can be free as opposed to paying for Pay Per Click advertising and the more articles you write the more well known you will be and the more functional website traffic you will get.

Directories

Submitting your quality articles to reputable article directories creates a back link to your internet business website. The reasoning for this is simple; prominent article directories likely have a higher value to search engines than your website. If you submit an article to a website that has a higher value to search engines than your website does, the article submitted to article directories will likely outrank your website for your intended keywords or phrases. Your first step should be to submit your articles to the top article directories, in the category that is the closest match to your topic.

In conclusion it is fair to say that article marketing is internet marketing by the use of articles to advertise and bring traffic to your website and is a fast, safe, proven method to attract new buyers. Article marketing is the best, most certain, cost effective way to reach a specifically targeted pool of potential customers. Article marketing is considered a viral marketing method because from a single article one can obtain dozens or even hundreds of references to their name and website, which is why article marketing is regarded as a highly effective marketing tactic. Article marketing is most effective when you can create articles that are of value to a wide audience or targeted niche market.

Article Marketing - Making Your Articles Convert

It is easy to get depressed and to quit, but the truth that many people quit when success is around the corner is often the case with writing articles and article marketing.

There are many people who are coming to work online and they expect to have instant results. They dont see why writing an article to promote a product wont result in instant cash. The problem with a lot of the information around is that people forget to say that quality does count.

If you look at the people who are dominating their niches you will find they dont use junk articles and have the mindset that anything will do on their sites. They believe that quality is always the way to run your business.

You will never dominate your niche if you dont have articles which people want to read. People are after information, and they want it to be accurate. You might have an end product to sell them to make their life easier but getting them to that stage means you have to earn their trust.

In life it has been said that a person has 4 seconds to decide whether they like a person or not. The impression you create in those 4 seconds will decide whether a person will want to develop a friendship with you.

The same is true online, what a person reads tells them something about you. It might not be an accurate analysis but it does mean the difference between a sale and a person clicking away from your site.

Think for a moment, if you are on a forum, are there people there who you dislike? Normally, you make this decision because of the way they write to the site. The point is you dont know them personally, but it is likely that if they tried to sell you something then you wouldnt buy.

The same is true in your goal for article marketing success. People will decide from what you write whether they can trust you or not. You will need to take those few words to build that relationship. You will create a hunger for them to crave more of what you are offering. Before they know what they are doing, they will be buying your product, and you will be dominating your niche the way you have dreamt about.

Article Marketing - Cracking the Code to Success!

Article marketing is still one of the most widely used forms of promotion by website owners. There is no doubt that it holds many benefits, but it is important that we understand the right way to approach article marketing and don't fall for the same mistakes that many seem to make.

The basic concept of article marketing is to submit an article on a chosen topic and to receive exposure and promotion for our business in return for syndicating to article directories. The amount of exposure and promotional benefit our business can receive depends on how well we use article marketing.

In order to benefit from article marketing as much as possible there are a number of things that we should consider. In this article I will touch on several of them.

Spelling and Grammar

For some authors this isn't a problem. However, for many others it could be one of the reasons why article marketing is a method that they try to avoid. This shouldn't be the case as a simple spell checker can solve most errors.

Article Title

This is arguably the most important part of the article. The title is what grabs the readers initial attention, and in conjunction with correct keywords holds the key to the amount of traffic that articles can receive.

Keywords

Following on from the point I've just made about the title, the correct use of keywords is what influences that amount of constant traffic that we can possibly receive from our article ranking in the search engines. Related keywords are also important with recent search engine algorithm updates.

Knowledge

In order to make the most of the readers that choose to read our article it is important to show our knowledge. By demonstrating how much we know about a certain topic we can gain the trust of the reader before they have even visited our website link. This is highly important as it can affect how the visitor reacts to our website (reading more content, opting in to a newsletter, buying a product).

Resource Box

Having successfully managed to get the reader to read our article it is now time to create a "call to action" in our resource box. This is where we ask the reader to do something by following the website link that we provide. This could be to go and sign up for an eCourse, download an eBook, buy a product, or to simply visit a website to read more articles on the topic.

Although I've only touched briefly on a number of points about successful article marketing, I cover much more in my Article Success Strategies eBook. Download your copy at http://www.articlesuccessstrategies.com and share with others for 100% commission!

Article Marketing - Don't Stop Your Reader From Going to the Resource Box in Your Articles

If you are using Article Marketing to build your list or bring visitors to your web site or blog, one of the most important parts of your article in the article resource box. The resource box is where you get to invite the reader to your web site or blog for more information.

Very few writers know how to craft a prospect pulling resource box. Most do not do it well. The most amazing mistake I see are the article writers that actually stop the reader from ever getting to the resource box.

Sound strange? How do you know you are not doing it?

The 2 Biggest Resource Box Stop Signs

The first biggest stop sign is what I call a "hard end" to the article. By this I mean that you write in a way that the end of the article is way too clear. You might as well put "The End" like in a movie in the way you have worded the article.

The mistake there is the reader gets the message, "Oh, this is over. I'm outta here," and they are not likely to read further.

What to do instead: Don't stop the reader, lead them right into the resource box with a soft transition.

The second biggest stop sign is starting the resource box with information about you. This also announces "the article is over and you can stop reading now!"

What to do instead: Save the information about you for the last line of the resource box. Begin your resource box with an invitation to the reader to visit your web site or blog for more information.

How To Obtain Quality Backlinks For Best SEO Practices

Quality backlinks provide a way for a website owner to gain traffic to their webpage. The number of backlinks one gets is often a favorable concept in and of itself. Backlinks which are of the highest quality are often ones which bring customers to a sales website, for example. The following will describe some ways in which website owners can obtain beneficial backlinks to improve their web traffic.

Post Links on a Variety of Websites

The first thing one must do in order to obtain the highest quality of backlinks is to post the links on a variety of other websites. Doing so will help to get the most amount of backlinks to your website and the more backlinks there are the larger number of quality ones there may be. Getting your website link out on the World Wide Web will help to increase traffic to your site and bring in customers should you be selling items on your website.

Post Links on Websites Which Share Your Common Goal or Offer Similar Items

Another way to achieve the highest quality of backlinks to your website is to post the link to your site on webpages in which you have a shared goal. For example, if your website sells baby strollers then try to post a link to your website on other sites which offer baby products or deal with baby topics. This will help to ensure that the number of backlinks you receive will be higher quality due to the sheer interest of those who visit your website. Quality backlinks are those ones which may produce the highest sale for you or the most interest in your website.

Put Your Link on Webpages Which Do Not Have Many Other Links Present

An additional way to ensure that your backlinks will be of the utmost quality is to place your link on webpages and sites which have little other links already present on them. Since other links to different websites can mean competition for your backlink endeavors, try to find websites where they have a maximum amount of allowable links on each webpage as this will help to draw eyes toward your specific link and not the other ones on the page.

Choose Top Notch Websites to Place Your Link On

You should also take note of the quality of websites in which you will be placing your links. Try to choose websites which are popular and well thought of by the masses. Placing a link to your website on a reputable website will also help to ensure that the backlinks you receive will be of high quality. Simply by associating with a highly thought of website will often result in the referrals to your website being beneficial as well. This is another way to ensure that quality backlinks will exist by posting your link on other websites on the Internet.

Every Website Needs Search Engine Optimization

If you plan on marketing online, you're sure to hear the term Search Engine Optimization(SEO). So what is Search Engine Optimization? Search Engine Optimization is the practice of using various tools and methods to make your site rank higher on a list of search engine results.

Before a site can appear in search results, the search engines must index it. This is accomplished by a search robot visiting the site, analyzing it, and storing relevant information in the search engine database. Once indexed, the site can be displayed in search results. Search engines cannot display a site they have no information on. Some simple steps to get your site known by the search engines are:

1. Choose keywords and keyword phrases that accurately describe your site and that your target market will use to find your services.

2. Use those keywords and phrases throughout the content of your site.

3. Place links back to your site from other sites that are relevant to your keyword phrases.

There are many other ways to get search engines to learn about a new site and it would be well worth your efforts to learn all that you can about search engine optimization. A well designed, informative site that cannot be found holds no value. The unknown is essentially nonexistent. Think about it, have you ever bought a product you didn't know existed? Have you ever visited a place you never heard of? To be successful online you must find ways to give your site an online presence.

Search Engine Optimization has many aspects to it and requires work and persistence to attain the full benefits. However, the benefits are many and well worth your efforts. Some of the benefits worth mentioning are:

1. Online presence
2. Increased targeted traffic - Traffic - Traffic and more Traffic
3. Higher conversion rates
4. Higher rankings give you more credibility
5. Increased visibility - Global audience
6. High ROI - return on investment

Search engines are the most widely used internet tool to find information, products and/or websites. However, most people who use search engines rarely make it past the first page and many only look at the top half of the first page. Getting yourself on the first page and better yet on the top half of the first page, will make your site's presence be known and subsequently generate more traffic that could lead to potential income and business. Search engines attract extremely targeted traffic. The visitor who finds your site through a search engine is already actively looking for exactly what you provide and therefore more prone to make the click to see how you can be of service to them.

Search engine optimization is a method of online marketing that should not be overlooked and included in every online marketer's portfolio. Traffic is a key factor to online success and search engine optimization will definitely get your website targeted traffic.

Don't Let Negative Feedback Start to Wreck Your eBay Business

We all know that the buying and selling activities play a very crucial role in any business. However, when we talk about buying and selling on eBay, are the strategies really that important? EBay is just like any other business market where you have to prove your skills in order to achieve the desired results. Therefore, even in case of business on eBay, customer feedback is very important and once you are successful in getting your feedback ratings up, there will be no problems for you to sell your products on eBay without any hassles. The last thing that you need on eBay is negative feedback, which could ruin your chances of selling in the online market.

With respect to negative feedback, the best thing that you could do is ensuring that you don't get any. It may be difficult for you to sell your products in the first place, especially if you are new to eBay. The thing to remember when dealing with products on eBay is that feedback doesn't matter if you are dealing with low cost products.

One of the best ways to initiate good feedback is to familiarize with how eBay works. Once you start buying, you are exposed to the whole new lesson on how a seller handles his customers. This should be more of a learning process for you so that you know the different aspects of selling, like how the sellers act and the working of the auction. There is a term called Power Sellers that is frequently used on eBay. This simply refers to those sellers who get the most positive feedback. These are the people who are really successful at what they do best, i.e., selling products on eBay. You can do a thorough research on these power sellers and see what they do in order to get such ratings. It could either be better customer service, offering attractive discounts and even freebies on purchase of their products, shipping facility, etc. You can even get feedback if you buy products from these sellers.

Don't be shy to ask for feedback from the sellers. The more feedback that you get as a buyer, the better prospects you have of being a good seller. Once you've mastered the working of eBay, you can progress. The products should be of the kind that will guarantee you some feedback. Keep in mind that once you start getting feedback, especially in large numbers, don't ever try and ignore it. Each feedback is important, and you must always revert to your buyers, either asking for their opinions or giving them news about your new products on eBay that they might be interested in. Always remember that the customer is always right and make them feel that you are looking after their best interests.

Advanced SEO - The Characteristics Of A Perfect Incoming Link

What is a quality incoming link? This article describes the key characteristics of a perfect link. For explanation purposes, the sample company is a shoe retailer called Fred's Sports, and the keyword phrase being optimized for is "blue Nike sneakers".

Key word phrase in anchor text
Unless you put your keyword phrase in the anchor text (the text that describes the web site being linked to), you are wasting a lot of link power. Unfortunately a lot of people don't know this an end up putting their company name in the link text rather than the keyword phrase that they want their company to be found by. Much better that they link anchor says "blue Nike sneakers" than "Fred's Sports Store".

The link is from a relevant page
Google and the Google-powered search partners seek relevance in the interconnectedness of web pages. Incoming links should be from pages where the content on that page is related to the content of the page that is being linked to. A fishing related page linking to a casino site is an example of a non-related link. A jogging related page linking to a blue Nike sneakers product page is related and is looked upon favourably by the search engines.

The link goes to a relevant page
Another mistake that people make is always linking to the home page rather than to the most relevant page to the anchor text. If the link anchor text is "blue Nike sneakers" then the link should go to a page about blue Nike sneakers, not the home page. This is by far and away the most common linking mistake.

The link is from an authority site
Links from high Google PageRank sites are worth more, a lot more, than links from other sites. It's all about trust. A link from a trusted site tells the search engines that the sites linked to are also trusted - it's a vote of confidence from a credible source. Links from .gov, and .edu sites are also reported as having more weight than standard links. They are also more difficult to get adding to their perceived quality.

The link is at top of the page
Links from the top of a page (except for the header), are said to have more weight than links at the bottom of pages. It's the same with keyword phrases. A keyword phrase in the heading is worth more than in the body text.

The link is one-way, not reciprocal
Google's algorithm looks for link exchanges between sites and rates these links lower than straight one-way links. If possible, look for one way links by creating link bait - compelling content that will encourage people to link to your pages.

The link is within the body copy - not an advertising zone
Linking should be a natural part of the body copy. Recent reports suggest that the search engines will derate links from parts of the page that are traditionally sold for advertising. these tend to be the margins, header and footer areas of the page.

The link does not have a nofollow tag
The nofollow tag is a recent innovation that tells the search engines that although I am linking to this other page, I do not vouch for the page's integrity. In short, the nofollow tag tells the search engines to ignore the link. Obviously you do not want links to your web pages to have nofollow tags. Be careful with link exchanges. Some dishonest people will exchange links with you but use nofollow tags in the links to your pages to preserve their own link power.

There are few links on page (less than 20)
One link to your web site from a page with hundreds of links does little for your SEO results. The page's SEO power is being distributed over all the other links on the page. Goo;le's guidelines recommend no more than 100 links per page, but I believe 20 is a reasonable goal. You never know when the Google algorithm may change. The perfect page that links to your pages should have no more than 20 links.

Improve Search Engine Rankings Using Stickiness and Thematic Linking - Updated Discussion

Improve search engine rankings correctly, do not spam but consider linking thematically for the long term. Also, consider how the long term success involves the stickiness of your pages. The methods can be exponential.

In order to improve search engine rankings in your web site it is proven that the idea of theme related quality links is what pushed the rankings. Not only must you target theme related links, but your content on your web site must be sticky and add a better user experience.

Most web site owners do not understand why they cannot rank websites. The simple fact is your web site may just simply not be interesting enough for your users. There are two ways you can go to improve search engine placement for better rankings.

The first is method is focusing on some highly target link building methods. These link should be theme related and must have content that relates to your web site. If you are trying the achieve better search engine rankings gathering links from site which are not entirely relative to yours, you are wasting your time.

Also, remember link exchanges are really a waste of time now-a-days. It has shown that link exchanges with sites and even three way links are not increasing search engine rankings. With the Google algorithms changing and modifying you must be kept up to speed. The foundation of search engine optimization and better search engine rankings is about learning the correct methods. Lots of times, marketers who are looking for better placement, are doing all the old ways of ranking a site. Building a link exchange directory, doing reciprocal linking, and possibly black hat SEO.

Ever Wonder Why People Are Exchanging links?

Squidoo Affiliate Marketing - Get Multiple Listings on the First Page of Google Results

Introduction

This article shows you a way to use Squidoo to get multiple listings on the first page of Google results for your targeted keyword.

Squidoo enables you to create a dynamic interplay between your blog, articles and Squidoo lens. I have termed this interaction, the Squidoo-Google Dance. Hopefully, the reason for the name will become obvious as I explain each step of this strategy.

Basic steps to get on the first page of Google results

Here are the basic steps for the Squidoo-Google Dance:

1. Create a Squidoo lens on "Your Keyword"

2. Start a blog on "Your Keyword" (or re-focus an existing blog)

3. Submit both your lens and your blog to blog directories and the search engines.

4. Write an article on "Your Keyword" with the resource box linking to your blog AND your lens.

5. Submit your article to article directories.

6. Create links from your Squidoo lens and blog to your article(s).

7. Set up an RSS feed from your blog to your Squidoo lens.

8. Start posting to your blog with "Your Keyword" in your post title.

9. Ping the blog directories for your blog and squidoo lens with each post.

So what is happening?

You have created a dynamic interaction (dance) between your blog, your Squidoo lens and your articles.

  • Your blog and Squidoo lens are being updated simultaneously.
  • Your articles are creating backlinks to your lens and blog.
  • Your blog and Squidoo lens are creating backlinks to your articles.

By pinging the directories, you are inviting Google to join the dance. Google continuously crawls the directories looking for updated material.

If you have multiple articles on the same keyword or topic you can also add your article feed from an article directory to your blog and Squidoo lens. Blogger.com, for example, now has provision for adding RSS feeds to your blog.

The result: multiple listings on the first page of Google

The net result of the Squidoo-Google Dance is multiple listings on the first page of Google for your target keyword. These listings can be from your blog posts, your Squidoo lens, your article in an article directory or website, your blog directory entry or even from your Squidoo tags.

If you have monetized your lens and your blog with affiliate product links, the Squidoo-Google Dance can generate increased income as well as substantial traffic.

Outsoure To The Philippines - Where Every Dollar Counts

IT outsourcing to the Philippines by companies like AoV Outsourcing service, PI Outsource, AJK Consulting, MicroSourcing and numerous other BPO and KPO companies has been on the stream of economic issues not only in the country but mainly in the United States as well. It is undeniably the factor that steers the growth of our economy. Apparently, there is no standard legitimate definition for outsource to the Philippines. But generally, outsourcing is the transfer of fractions of work to an outside service provider or suppliers to reduce the cost of expenses. This often result to more business opportunity for companies. It has been continuously booming for the past years since the labour of our workers here are considerably cheaper than the services offered elsewhere.

Since 2000, IT outsource to the Philippines have sprouted like mushrooms throughout major Philippine cities, including Iloilo's AoV Outsourcing service, Manila's Archangles IT, Clark's (the former US military base in Pampanga province) RCG-IT, Cebu's PODD Corp., Dumaguete' SPI and Davao's BHI Pro, catering largely to US firms seeking cheap labor to handle so-called "cyberservices", including customer care, back-office processing, data transcription and other information-technology-related services.

The focus of IT outsourcing to the Philippines is to provide both your customers and the search engines with what they seeking, highly accessible information. The main 3 search engines, Google, Yahoo and MSN, are constantly refining and altering the algorithms that drive their engines to produce the most relevant and useful results.

The Philippine Cyberservices Corridor is a plan that is being pursued by the government of the Philippines to create interconnected centers of technology-related services, that are spread out all over the country. Services include IT outsourcing to the Philippines, medical transcription, and the like. It is part of the ten-point agenda of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and is one of the five "super-regions" outlined in her 2006 State of the Nation Address.

In 2005, the country employed about 100,000 BPO/KPO and customer care agents, with employment growing yearly. This growth is expected to accelerate by the completion of the corridor. It is estimated that 200,000 people are working in 120 BPO in the Philippines in 2006, and expected to bring in revenues of US$3.8 billion for the year. Overall, Philippine BPO is forecasted to earn US$13 billion for the year 2010.

Paul Jyron D. Andonaque does link building for AoV Philippines Outsourcing and currently undergoing extensive SEO training under Chris Sandberg. He has been on with his career as a link builder and a webmaster for almost a year yielding satisfactory results for Outsource to the Philippines AoV.

Selling Articles For Profit - How To Sell Articles On Ebay

Not surprisingly, there are authors that attempt to sell custom articles on Ebay. In many cases, they do garner some success. That said, with a little bit of refinement, you can target your article selling to focused audiences.

Among other things, many new business owners will scour Ebay listings looking for ideas about how to market their products. As an example, if someone wants to sell jewelry online, they will review all kinds of Ebay guides, as well as listings from other vendors. Therefore, if you offer custom design articles under the jewelry keyword, you may just catch that person's eye. If you post your services using the featured option, this will also make it much easier for your prospective customer to find you.

Unfortunately, most article sellers make their Ebay listings vague, in the hopes of reaching larger numbers of people. As a result, most potential customers do not even know to look for content writers on Ebay. Not only will they never find your listing, you will wind up wasting money on insertion fees. On the other hand, creating more listings with specific topics can easily boost your sales.

Even though Ebay is traditionally geared towards the sale of physical merchandise, they do have the resources to help you sell digital media. Not only can this help with delivery of custom content, you will be able to ask the customer to pay you before you actually release the item for download. Considering the high rate of article theft, Ebay is one of the few places where the writer has an advantage.

Wordtracker Made Easy in 6 Steps

As many of you already know the success of any good optimization plan starts with the research of keywords. Normally you want to find words or word clusters that will open additional windows into your site while giving your potential visitors exactly what they're looking for.

Many Web site owners have the mind set that they should only optimize their Web site for the most popular keywords. Unfortunately this means that they are competing with millions of other sites competing for the same keywords. Those most common keywords are not the phrases that will bring qualified visitors to your site. Most times these popular keywords are to general and the competition is way too high.

Let me walk you through the steps of how I approach research when it comes to finding those valuable keywords.

First I think of the most common root word that I know for a fact is going to have a very high number of competing pages.

My session of choice in WT is Keyword Researcher I would much rather know what keywords people are searching on rather than using Keyword Universe where it shows me how keywords are being used on the top 200 Web sites.

For example purposes lets' work on a Web site about "bass fishing."

The most common and popular root keywords I would start with would be "bass fishing." Normally I like to start with just one root word but in this case the 2 word phrase bass fishing is more detailed then just fishing so I am starting there. I only want my responses to be related to that type of fishing "bass." In this step I am just looking for a keyword cluster that would have something to do with the overall purpose of my site. Also at this point I am not concerned with KEI or competing pages I am only looking for a keyword phrase that pertains to my site.

Just so I know what I am up against I make a note of the competition for the most common keywords "bass fishing."

bass fishing 253 446 6,530,000 0.01

Just as I suspected those are pretty high numbers to work with and even the most seasoned Professional SEO would not try to compete with that. Competing pages of 6,530,000 and a KEI of only 0.01.

As I look through my responses I see these ones:

flw bass fishing tournament 8 14 923 0.07

handmade bass fishing jigs 11 19 3 40.33

I found a couple to work through not great numbers but I know our site lists the top bass fishing tournaments around the country including the FLW Series and we also review fishing lures so I write these two phrases down so I can work through them.

Next I would search separately on each of the words above: flw - bass - fishing -handmade - jigs and tournament to see what I come up with.

The first word "flw" did not come up with anything I could use so I moved on to the next. I try really hard to not get side tracked, you can spend hours in WT and not get anything accomplished so stick to one 3 or 4 keyword phrase at a time and pick that one apart before going on to the next.

As I predicted the words bass and fishing both are too general and are not giving me anything I can use but I don't give up I still move on and explore each word of the phrase clusters I came up with in the beginning.

My next word was "handmade" which I know from experience I should try both "handmade" as one word and then separate it into two words "hand made." It usually gives us completely different results and it did as well this time.

hand made fish hooks 23 40 91 5.81

Not wonderful numbers but with 23 people searching on it I know I can optimize a page on our site for hand made fish hooks and actually give our visitors some resources for companies that produce hand made fishing hooks.

Lets' keep going with our next word which is "jigs." Just as before I want to try the word as "jigs" and "jig" it will always give us different results.

Now we are getting somewhere the word "jig" gave us this great result:

bass jig trailers 40 70 9 177.80

I know I can work this type of bass fishing lures into a separate optimized page of our site. But we are not finished yet lets' look at our last word "tournament" and the plural form"tournaments."

Fishing Report tournaments 24 42 46 12.52

bass tournaments florida 12 21 1 144.00

kentucky bass tournaments 9 15 5 16.20

As you can see above I found a couple different phrases I can work in our site. I see by my research people are looking for information on tournaments by state. This could open multiple windows into our site but posting tournament information individually on each state and optimizing each page for that states bass tournaments. Interesting ...something I would not have normally thought of came about by doing a little keyword research.

This is how I work through each session of keyword research. The whole process should not take you more than an hour and most times you come up with some great possibilities.

To recap:

1. Start with your most common root word

2. Find a couple 3 or 4 words clusters you can pick apart that pertain to your site even if they do not have great numbers

3. Research each word separately trying both singular and plurals

4. Remember not to get side tracked stick to one phrase at a time

5. Be open to discovering new windows into your site

6. And lastly go optimize the new phrase on your site

The $200 Per Day Marketing Blueprint - Does This Program Really Work?

See You may have run across this program during your internet travels called the $200 per Day Marketing Blueprint. I joined this program for about 2 months and would like to share my experience so you can decide for yourself, if the $200 per Day Marketing Blueprint really works?

I was anxious to get started and followed all their instructions to the "T" but it was apparent that the $200 per day wasn't going to happen very quickly. And it was going to cost a considerable amount of time and start up money before it would become profitable.

Here are some points you may want to consider before joining this program:

1. The Secret Pays:

This is the "front end" program that the $200 per Day Marketing Blueprint uses to generate income for it's members, it is called a "1-up" which means that you pay your money to your sponsor and your first sale goes to them as well, so in essence you have handed one up to your sponsor. You will in return get the same from your second sale and every sale you make there after.

This program has a one time cost of $125.00 out of that amount $100.00 goes directly to your sponsor and $25.00 goes to the program administrator Sherm Mason.

2. Veretek:

This is a marketing system that the $200 per day marketing blueprint uses to advertise.

The whole training provided in the $200 per day marketing blueprint focuses on the tools available only to a "Gold" member of Veretek.

The "Silver" membership is free but very limited on tools so you will gain very little from this free membership.

Gold cost $100.00 for the initial one time set up fee and $41.00 a month there after, so your initial out of pocket cost is a whopping $141.00 to become a gold member and gain the full benefit of the $200 per day marketing blueprint.

I have outlined some very interesting points about this program so you can decide for yourself if the $200 per Day Marketing Blueprint is the right program for you.

Although this could start to produce some income, in the 2 months and $307.00 that I spent on this program I did not make any money at all.

If you are interested in a quicker and much more inexpensive alternative, or just an easy way to pay for your membership fees to the $200 per Day Marketing Blueprint, please visit my Blog.

Are 1 Up And 2 Up Programs Heading For The Endangered List? Business Review

Lets take a look at the so called 1up and 2up programs that have blown onto the scene the last couple of years and see if they are still a viable option for someone that wants to get involved in the online marketing and generating a substantial income online.

The Concept:

1up and 2up programs come in various packages but the basic premise is still the Same. Upon joining the Program whereby you have paid say $997 to become a member you would have access to all of the amenities of the program, things like digital software, e-books, mindset materials sometimes travel vouchers.

Here is what defines 1up and 2 up programs: You must pass along your 1st or 2nd sale to whomever you joined with, sometimes referred as "your sponsor". Upon doing this you are now ready or qualified to receive income from whoever you sell the program to say $997 in this case. You do not have to pass up sales ever again. This is where the power of the 1up or 2up comes from as you build you downline you are receiving those 2 ups or 1 ups from those who you bring in.

Drawback to these program like Passport to Wealth, EDC Gold, Cruise to Cash is that on Average depending on who you talk to most people are only able to make about 2.3 sales before they give up!! so you can see most people are only able to get in the position to generate income when they throw up there hands in frustration. Here is the other head of the 2 headed monster: since someone joins with you and has passed up their 1 or 2 sales to you there is no benefit for you to help them become successful since they will not be generating income for you. and the same is for your sponsor.

What does all this mean? You can be successful with these programs and people are successful with these opportunities. However there are other alternatives to these kind of programs that have a no up strategy and the key to them is that you are motivated to help your downline because there is an override that you receive whenever they make a sale plus you don't pass any thing up!!

Search Engine Optimisation Explained

Just what is Search Engine optimisation or SEO? Why does it appear so valuable to so many webmasters and others with internet commerce sites? The definition of this term is simple. It is the process of ranking a site high in the pages of search engine results in order to get more visitors. The concept behind Search Engine optimisation is if your site appears on the first page of a Google or Yahoo search query result then there is a high likelihood that you will have a greater number of visitors. More visitors usually results in more business.

The definition is simple but the process is much more involved. The entity that will do the ranking of your page is not a person but a software process known as a Searchbot that finds your site, classifies it, and determines how popular it is. If it determines that a site is very popular, it ranks it higher than the others. Companies hire Search Engine optimisation consultants to analyze your web site and implement methodologies so that searchbots will be able to easily find and rank your site.

One of the first steps implemented in Search Engine optimisation is finding popular keywords for your site and then making sure that keyword appears on the top or home page frequently allowing the searchbot to classify it. For example, if the products you sell from your site are related to snow skis then you want the words snow skis to appear at several places on especially the home page. The searchbot will traverse the web, find your site, analyze the text, and determine that your site is a one selling snow skis and related products.

Part of Search Engine optimisation is to make sure that the text on your site is actually text (like what you would type in Windows Notepad). In other words, a searchbot cannot read text in images. It can only read pure ASCII character text in order to extract the keywords. The way many sites put this text on their home page is with what are known as keyword articles. In our example of a snow ski site, the webmaster would put informative articles on the home page of the site about snow ski topics. In these articles you would find the words snow skis used quite often so that the searchbot will detect it.

The other popular methodology used in Search Engine optimisation is to have a link back to your site on some other popular site related to your product. This helps the searchbot determine that your site is popular enough to be listed on an already popular site and the result is a higher ranking. If a link to your site for snow skis appears on numerous popular ski resort sites then this is an indication of popularity and searchbots will rank your site higher.

There is a lot more to Search Engine optimisation than just the two concepts above. There are issues such as what not to do. Some are tempted to stuff their sites with hidden keywords that saturate the page but cannot be seen in the browser but will be found by the searchbot. Doing this will ban your site from ever getting classified so avoid it. There are also unrealistic claims made by so-called SEO consultants to get your site ranked quickly but the process actually takes time to adjust strategies and figure out what works and what does not work. A good SEO consultant will know this.

Article Marketing - How Do I Get Started in Article Marketing and Internet Marketing?

I hear this so often, and many folks don't get started because they don't know where to start. They get confused. If you sign up for a few lists, you end up getting the product of the day that will change your life and you must have if you're going to be successful. It's very confusing.

I saw a presentation recently that was proposing to teach all of internet marketing, and they mentioned 40 different entry points. That's a lot to have to manage.

One of the ways around that is to pick one that's a gateway into the rest and get going. That allows you to cut the noise, because if you're listening to everybody and listening to every offer and getting everything, like I did at first - I wish I hadn't done that years ago - you wind up confused, feeling like you're busy, feeling like you're stressed, feeling like you're doing a lot, but not having great results.

Here's a 2-step process to get started:

  • Look around, do your due diligence, do your research, listen to some people, find the people that you can relate to and connect with, pick one and focus.
  • Stay in massive action.

If you do things, you'll move ahead. Now while you're in massive action you've got to be willing to fail sometimes.

I was talking to Matt Bacak the other day. His first teleseminar - this is a guy who can pull thousands now - just three or four years ago had 6 people on it, and half of them were relatives.

Some things will work, some things won't. The quicker you find out what doesn't, in other words the quicker you fail at some things, the quicker you'll find out what works.
