How Does Google Dance Affect Search Engine Optimisation?

The Google monthly update cycle has now grown to be known as the Google Dance. This is extremely unpredictable and sudden if which no one has been able to keep track. This has now reduced to become just a huge step in the open sky which, might land upon any website or webpage. Almost every web master eagerly awaits the update session that is going to take place in the form of Google Dance. The Google Dance is an essential aspect of Search Engine Optimisation.

The Google spiders begin crawling over billions of web pages, spread across the world in different locations. The technology leaves the Googlebot or the Deep bots to spider all the current websites that are listed in its database. It also figures out websites that are new and recently launched. In most cases the first crawl of the spiders is repeated by another crawl which normally occurs some two weeks later.

The Googlebot at all times, generally starts a second round of spidering of the all the existing websites in its current database including the newer ones that have been recently launched on the web. It is actually the duty of a good web master to study the Google Dance tendency before submitting his website to search engine listings for Search Engine Optimisation.

Most web masters wish to see their website included in its crawling list on both the updates that are carried out in a monthly cycle. But this is not the case always, there have been instances, when a website is crawled for the first time in the month but was not included in the second crawling that was followed immediately. But if a website is crawled in the second listing, there have been recorded repetition of the website in the second month's list as well.

In order to see your website getting listed in Google dance for Search Engine Optimisation, more rapidly, the web masters need to first study the cycle and then accordingly update their site, so that the website is listed in the very first crawl that occurs after the update. If this is done, then there are brighter chances that the spider might crawl into the website in the next month's crawling too.

The more frequent the search engines crawl into the website the higher is the chance of improving its Search Engine Optimisation process.

Tired Of Competing With The Big Players? Beat Them At Their Own Game!

In traditional marketing we often shy away from markets where there is said to be alot of competition. Competition in traditional forms of marketing means spending more on advertising, having to be "clever" with marketing and is often a difficult uphill climb for newcomers entering the market. We shy away from the "big players" or where there is a strong monopoly of players.

With internet marketing this is however the exact market you want to target! WHAT?

When you consider your market for a product, you will likely consider the typical advertising format of using Google and PPC advertising. This is a costly area if you intend to compete with the "big players". However, what has been established is that those "big players" are not likely to a) go to too much detail with how they advertise and b) are constantly seeking new places to advertise.

So taking factor a) into account.

When choosing keywords the big players are not likely to focus too much on detailed keyword selection. They are more likely to simply pick the broad keywords they can find and then simply pay whatever is necessary for them to be in the top page of the searches for that keyword. As a new business entering the same market you therefore have a distinct advantage.... you can seek out those keywords which are still getting the high searches but where the "big players" can't be bothered to look fo them. Hint: Using software tools like Keyword Elite makes this process alot easier. So if we were to consider the "home loan" market, you may find that searches for keywords like "Cheap home loan" or " Compare home loan" are likely to be bombarded with competition, however if you were to look up keywords related but not necessarily broad for that same market, say: "Fixed interest rates versus variable interest rates". You are likely to find less competition but still be able to tap into this very lucrative market.

Point b) - Seeking new places to advertise

The "big players" don't waste their time searching for niche keywords and they are constantly seeking places to advertise their products. Some of these "big players" pay volumes to their advertising displayed. Image how beneficial it would be to get those "big players" to advertise on your website? You could create a website which targets the more niche areas of the same market, tap into those keywords and then place AdWords advertising in distinct places on that page, commanding sometimes $4-$8 per click! This is money in your pocket by targeting those markets.

Article Marketing Insights by a Real Article Marketer

Article Marketing Insights by a Real Article Marketer

Dont take offense to that if you are a real article marketer. And I will let you determine what a real article marketer is.

But one of the things I have observed online is that there are roughly 100 people or less who make a full time income online using article marketing. I call them real article marketers. Then there are people who are actually article marketing, but just do it part time and I dont know the number of this group.

But I can tell you this. At the time you are reading this, I have over 1300 articles published online, and all of them are set up in such a way that I get traffic to my web site from them every single day.

The articles are my lifeblood they drive the traffic that makes me a living.

In the process of writing and publishing 1300 articles, I have developed some insights. The first insight is that there are two purposes to article marketing.

One purpose is that of generating backlinks to your web site. To do that you need to write a few articles and submit them to hundreds of article directories.

The other purpose of article directories is to write multiple articles and submit them to a few directories, the top few directories in terms of traffic.

Another insight I have had is that you cannot accurately measure article marketing results after 20 articles, or even 100 articles. I have been article marketing for over 8 months now, and I still get traffic from the very first articles I published over 8 months ago. This means that there is a cumulative effect of time on my articles. If I had measured the success of my articles that first month I would have only been measuring 1/8 of the total time that my article is online. And if I try to do a complete measurement right now, I would only get half of the result that I will if I measure in another 8 months. What about 5 years from now?

It is impossible for me to even imagine the total impact of my articles after 5 years on the internet.

Do you want to learn more about how I do it? I have just completed my brand new guide to article marketing success, Your Article Writing and Promotion Guide

Article Marketing - Discover 3 High Impact Ways to Improve Your Article Marketing

With so many entrepreneurs going online, making a mark in the internet arena becomes more and more challenging. As a marketer, you need to find effective ways so people will notice you and consider purchasing from you.

One of the best ways to advertise your business these days is through writing and submitting your articles online. You can write about your chosen niche, the problems that are affecting your target market, your products, and your business to communicate your specialized knowledge. When people see you as someone who is a great source of information, they will surely click on your resource box and they will instantly become your potential clients.

Here are the 3 high impact ways to improve your article marketing:

1. Consider your readers. Keep your potential clients when writing your articles. What do they want to see on your content? What are the problems they are currently experiencing and what solutions can you offer? Are there questions that they need to be answered to better understand their current situation? How do they want the information to be presented? The more you know about your readers, the more effective you will become in writing content that is targeted to their needs and demands.

2. Be productive. One of the best ways to succeed in article marketing is to multiply the number of your articles. Why? Because the more articles you write and submit, the more quality inbound links you can obtain for your website. That would literally mean more traffic and improved sales potential for you.

3. Make your articles easy to understand. If you are presenting new concepts that can be quite difficult to understand, use metaphors, examples, analogies, or images so your readers can easily visualize your ideas.

How To Make Affiliate Sales In 15 Minutes

If you are one of the 98.6% of affiliate members that never make one cent from affiliate sales or make small $5.00, $10.00 commissions, then this article is for you. Even if you are making nice checks, this will interest you.

You really can start to make affiliate sales in 15 minutes with Google Adwords.

Your ads will start appearing with 15 minutes for the keywords you have selected. If this has you scratching your head :o) I don't blame you. I was totally new to Adwords until I read about Chris Carpenter's experience in making $3,405 with just one ad in his very good ebook

You know those ads on the right side of the page of Google's search page? Well those are Adwords. You pay per click with the minimum at .05, which is less than Overture's .10 PPC. Placement of your ad is based on two factors, the Cost Per Click and your ad's Click Through Rate (CTR).

I have set my maximum CPC to .06 and the daily budget $5.00 until I see that the keywords I've selected are working and the affiliate program is making sales. To cut through a lot of learning curve you should find a niche keyword with Good Key Words or Word Tracker. The first is free and the second has a free trial. You can Also get some high paying Adword keywords (some Keywords pay $up to $80 per click!

The other is a software tool, Adword Analyzer.

It will find a list of related keywords, the number of searches per keyword and the number of advertising campaigns per keyword. Boy, do I love this software! I enter a keyword, say, mortgage, and it gives me all of the above in minutes. So you can find high traffic search terms that no one is buying Google Adwords for. Another use is to identify niches that are too competitive to enter. As you can imagine it will save money, time and most importantly find the search terms that you line up an affiliate for and start making money in minutes.

You see, that is the very essence of success with any affiliate program, finding a product that is hot, has little or no competition and developing an ad campaign for it.

The strategy that I use now is to find high paying keywords, buy a domain name with that keyword in it, create a simple landing page, add three Google Adsense ads (they allow up to three per page and don't forget to create Adsense channels for tracking) then I optimize the page with the keyword in the title, spread throughout the body (top, middle and bottom), add articles for content to other pages and create a new Adwords campaign to get some traffic started.

Then I will either buy or request reciprocal links from high relevant websites With PR4 and above. You buy links with PR5 and above for a reasonable amount. Do a search for Then watch my Adsense income build!

Google loves relevant content on your site or sites linking to it.

Another way to get listed in the top 10 or Google is writing articles. This is another article coming soon!

With Google Adwords you can get click-throughs within minutes and if targeted to the right prospect, sales in minutes.

How To Improve Your Site's Pagerank In Google

Search engine optimization
Search engine optimization is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic of a web site from search engines via "natural" ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results for targeted keywords. Usually, the earlier a site is presented in the search results or the higher it "ranks", the more searchers will visit that site. Search engine optimization can also target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.

Design
All content including links, headers, alternative image text, alternative frame text and content text on a well designed website is viewable to the user and, more importantly, in terms of Search engine optimization, the web crawler.

User Friendliness
Everything the viewer wants to know on your site should be no more than three clicks away (important information like contact info should always be one click away). In terms of Search engine optimization , a web crawler can only see the pages on your site that are directly linked, so a well optimized site will have text links as well as any graphical links such as flash or java script.

Content
As well as the body content of your site, a web crawler will also look at the page title, page description, keywords, and file name. It will make its judgments on how to list your site based on these factors. A well-optimized site will have a page title that briefly describes the content, a description tag that will describe the content in more detail, keyword tags that will pull select keywords and key terms from the content, a file name that reflects the page title and content that is clear and relevant to the user and the web crawler.

More about Content
The biggest mistake most people/companies make when optimizing a site is overdoing it, i.e., repeating keywords, duplicating image tags, flooding the backend with descriptive code and trying to fit as many keywords/terms into the meta tabs as possible. Not only is this a messy practice but it can also get your site penalized and may be dropped from searches altogether. When building/optimizing a site, the first person you should be thinking of is the user and not the web crawler. Not only will this be better for your Search engine optimization efforts, it will also be a better experience for your potential customer.

A SEO Strategy for Website Content and Information Architecture

The Holy Grail of Website Design

Search Engine Optimization has become the holy grail of website design. There are an endless number of articles available on the Web, citing numerous tips and tricks on how to maximize your search engine profile. I find this never-ending game of catch-up with search engine programmers to be a futile exercise as it often leads to the corruption of your website content.

There is no argument that driving traffic to your website is critical and as such SEO is important. What is as important and I would argue, more important, is delivering your marketing message to those prospects that come to your site. Attracting thousands of visitors who really aren't interested in what you have to offer is counter-productive if attracting those visitors cost you money or has caused you to bury your core value proposition.

An Alternative Multi-layered Website Design Strategy

There is an alternative multi-layered website design strategy that will deliver your content in a variety of ways meeting the needs of a Web-audience with varying degrees of attention and interest, while at the same time remaining search-engine friendly and compatible with most commonly employed SEO practices.

The core objective, stated or unstated, of business websites is to deliver your marketing message in an easy-to-find, understandable, memorable way that compels your prospect to answer your call to action. With these goals in mind we can construct an effective information architecture that presents your content in a way that converts prospects into customers.

Finding What You Want Fast - Bulleted Points

As I have often preached, Web-visitors judge the quality of your website by the ease with which they are able to find the information they came to find. I have also repeatedly reminded anyone who listens that Web-audiences just don't have the time, patience or inclination to read most Web-copy.

These factors make it clear that when constructing the written portion of your website, you should make sure you make ample use of

1. bulleted points

2. numbered lists

3. headlines and subheads, and

4. captions.

Understanding What You Need to Know - Extensive Articles

There is a caveat to this elemental approach to presentation, and that is you cannot rely only on point-form presentation to communicate sophisticated ideas; you must add supplemental information for those who need and want all the details, and for search engines that seek-out and index fertile keyword-laden content.

The point-form style is designed to give Web-visitors a quick overview of who you are and what you do; it tells them they are where they need to be to solve their problem, and it provides them with the basic information they need to retain their attention. But if you want to close the deal - turn prospects into customers - you need to give your audience more. Link your bulleted items to extended content presented in article format. These informative articles should be easy to read and comprehend. Leave out the sales hype and concentrate on the values you offer that benefits your potential clients.

Anecdotes & Name Dropping Gets Noticed

When you write these articles, or have them written for you by a professional, make liberal use of anecdotes and name-dropping. These stories and references will get indexed by search engines and Web-users will find your content serendipitously.

One of my favorite stories about the lack of communication, one that I used in an article entitled, "The Brand Story - A Tale Worth Telling," was taken from a great book, "Information Anxiety," written by Richard Saul Wurman, who retells the anecdote of a woman seeking a divorce from her husband as told by U.S. Representative Pat Swindall of Georgia. Much to my surprise when I checked the logs for people reading my article, I found many discovered it accidentally by searching for the congressman. This phenomenon was repeated in other articles, whenever I discussed audio voice characteristics using examples of popular personalities like Chris Rock, Dennis Leary, and Sidney Greenstreet, or when I discussed the Web as a conversation environment as presented by Christopher Locke, Rick Levine, Doc Searle, and David Weinberger in their provocative book, "The Cluetrain Manifesto."

In the above paragraph alone I've made reference to nine personalities, two well- know books, and an article of my own, all of which will get indexed by the search engines and get found by someone, thereby driving traffic to my content.

Getting Heard Means Making An Impression

So now that you have constructed a website that gives visitors the information they need quickly and easily; and we have supplemented that initial content with detailed keyword-laden articles filled with reader-friendly stories and search-engine friendly references; we are ready to add the final touch - the compelling deliver of your marketing message.

What Makes Your Marketing Message Compelling?

As much as we would like to believe we are rational beings making decisions strictly on logic, argument, and evidence - it is just not the case. We buy things from people we like, not necessarily from people providing the best solution, and we purchase products and services we want, not necessarily things we need.

As Malcolm Gladwell pointed out in his best selling book, "The Tipping Point," the doctors who get sued for malpractice are not necessarily the lousy doctors, but the doctors who don't spend enough time talking to their patients. What we learn from this is that we cannot ignore the human factor in making a marketing message compelling, and the best way I know to humanize your website is with the sound of the human voice.

A professionally delivered audio message delivered by an appropriate signature voice not only delivers your message in a compelling, easy to comprehend manner, but it also embeds that message in your prospects mind.

Getting What You Really Want

We all want more traffic to our websites, but in the process of attracting that traffic, we cannot forget our more profound goal: more customers, more sales, more revenue, and we cannot achieve that goal unless we deliver a meaningful, memorable message that turns prospects into customers.

How To Increase Your Link Popularity

Almost every site needs to increase their link popularity.

How should you go about doing this without incurring the wrath of the search engines?

It's generally accepted that the more inbound links you have to your site, the better. But that's not the whole story. Some links are more equal than others. Generally, the more difficult it is to acquire the link, the higher importance the search engines will place on it. So a link from, say, the home page of CNN will likely be worth a lot more than a link from your granny's site that just displays pictures of her grandchildren.

Links from certain "bad neighborhoods" may even count against you. Sites that are deemed to be "link farms", created for the sole purpose of generating links are usually worth avoiding. Similarly, sites where you can add your link and it instantly appears (often called Free For All link sites) are usually bad news. They may have had their use a few years ago but they're no longer worth your time.

Link swapping, also known as reciprocal linking, is also being given less importance by the search engines. They figure that it's relatively easy to swap links, so they put two and two together and figure that these reciprocal links are also not worth too much.

Some directories are "good" to get links from. Places like the Open Directory and Yahoo's directory, where a human looks at your site and checks it over, are good places to get links from. Other directories, where you place a link back to them or pay a small fee of a few dollars, vary in quality. Install the Google toolbar to check the page rank of your proposed directory before submitting.

Powerful Article Marketing - Discover 3 Marvelous Ways to Jump Start Your Article Marketing

Though there are numerous traffic-generating tools that have been introduced over the last couple of years, article marketing remains to be the best method in driving quality, organic traffic to a particular website. This is the reason why webmasters are making this technique their primary marketing tool to augment the number of their visitors and improve their page ranking on major search engines.

One of the elements that can greatly help article marketer to succeed in this method is identifying the ways and avenues where they can have their articles published and possibly re-distributed. Because contrary to popular beliefs, articles can be submitted to other websites aside from articles submission sites like EzineArticles.com.

Here are the 3 other ways on how you can market your articles in the world wide web:

1. Create ebook using your articles. There is a huge demand for ebooks these days and you can meet this need by compiling all your articles to create an informative, compelling ebook. You can use this as a giveaway to convince people to join your email marketing list or as viral marketing tool. Let your recipients know that they can share the ebook to their friends and family members for free!

2. Convert your articles to email marketing content. Though autoresponders, you can send useful, informative articles to your client base to either inform them or persuade them to support your products and services.

3. Post your articles on your website. This will not only make your website a great source of information, but it will also make your site search-engine friendly. Just imagine the amount of traffic you can drive to your site when online users search for keywords that you have on your website content.

Best Article Marketing - Latest 4 Powerful Steps to Energize Your Article Marketing

There are so many ways to promote your website these days. You can use forum posting, link building, email marketing, and PPC advertising. When all these are utilized simultaneously, the end results can be really impressive and rewarding. However, the drawback in using a lot of traffic-generating techniques all at the same time is that, they could take so much of your time and the processes can be tedious. This is the reason why webmasters are looking for a single marketing technique that will help them realized their online goals: increase their website traffic, pull up their search engine ranking, improve their sales potential, and ultimately attract new customers by showcasing their expertise through content-based marketing solutions. These can be achieved by using a single marketing strategy: article marketing.

Here are the latest 4 powerful steps to energize your article marketing:

1. Make your articles sound professional. Avoid using colloquial terms such as gonna, wanna, etc. as these make your articles sound created by an amateur. Stick to those words that reflect your expertise and your professionalism.

2. Make your articles publisher-friendly. To convince various publishers to post your articles on their submission sites, you have to make sure that your articles are worth reading, content-rich, quality, and targeted on your chosen niche. In addition, your content must be free from any inappropriate content and blatant advertisements.

3. Write to inform and not to impress. This is one of the common mistakes that most writers commit. Instead of giving their readers valuable information upfront, they boast their knowledge using highly technical terms that are not useful to their potential clients.

4. Widely distribute your articles. Aside from article submission sites, you can also distribute your articles to your target market by converting them into a viral marketing tool. Send your articles to your potential readers through email and ask them to forward the content to their friends and family members. This can result to increased exposure and improved traffic.

Bum Marketing - What Is All The Hype?

You've probably heard it before and it rings inside your head. The "bum" in bum marketing really gets you kicking and wondering why somebody in their right mind would call their product this. After all this is such a radical departure from the names that we're use to. Mike Filsame has the rights to "Butterfly Marketing", but who wants to be inspired by a colorful flying bug when you can be inspired by...a bum?

It's no surprise that it caught on fire and literally created a storm of wannabe reports about this revolutionary method. This is also partially thanks to the name selection and also because it's basically free. Yet free doesn't really matter that much anymore, and if you ask any decent copywriter then you'd know that it's the most cliche and overused term on the net. What makes this so unique is that it's claim is that it actually works, and it lays out one of the most simplest if not easiest method there is for making money. It could have easily been created as a product in itself but the creator, decided to make it publicly available.

The name was given to imply that this method is so successful that even a bum living on the street can make good money. The income that's going to be made will really just depend on the amount of time and work that you put into this method. The payoff is suppose to come eventually. The main idea is to write articles for article directories using keywords that aren't competitive, or less popular. Since the articles are based on the less competitive terms, these articles will actually have a better chance of coming up to the very top of search engines without much effort. The money is basically made on from the link in the author box, capitalizing on an affiliate product.

The resource box or author's is going to be what the readers are drawn to and they will click it based on your articles. So it's very important to find out whether you have an article good enough to help you establish yourself as a known expert. You should make sure that the link that you're using is valid, otherwise it'll be a complete waste of time to write these articles. The keywords and articles you use will be the main deciding factor on whether the user is going to click your link. If not then you've just wasted some precious time on an article.

For the actual affiliate product that you plan on promoting, you should target the bigger network ones so that you'll have an easier time going through the ones that you want to use. Just make sure that the article matches up with the niche of the product that you're trying to promote. Meaning that it's relevant to the topic. So does this really work?

In theory yes it does and many people are reporting their results and earn up to thousands per month. Yet the problem isn't on whether it works or not, it's based on the patience involved in getting this done. Writing articles hours on end can be a tough thing to do for most people. However, the simple fact that it's hard makes it more of an opportunity for those who are willing to put in their energy and create the articles on a consistent basis. Outsourcing is generally not the best way to do this either simply because of the money involved in making this happen. Of course, if you can find an honest writer whose willing to charge less then by all means go for it. Waiting for the articles to start generating you the money is going to be where the patience part comes in and most people just do not have this. So if you're willing to go ahead and commit yourself to this, then I suggest that you do this. Otherwise, don't waste your time and only use articles as a means to build your brand.

If you try it, then at least you know that this method works and you can later branch out into other projects.

Getting Started With The Bum Marketing Method

The Bum Marketing Method was created by Travis Sago, who explains that he can literally pick up a Bum off of the streets and show him how to make money online with little effort. Is it the real deal?

In a simple answer: Yes, it is the real deal.

Bum Marketing takes more than a little effort, it takes quite a bit of effort and it takes a little knowledge in Writing Articles and Search Engine Optimization. In the shortest Bum Marketing Tutorial ever, I'm going to attempt to break down this process for you, so that you can better understand "BMM".

Bum Marketing is very similar to Article Marketing, in which you need to write articles (duh!) and submit them to places such as EzineArticles.com based on a set of Keywords with little competition. Take, for example, "Blue Widgets". Let's say that we joined an Affiliate Program for Blue Widgets and we want to promote this product.

If you were to type "Blue Widgets" (with quotes around the term) into Google - you would see the number of results given back. These numbers (results) are actually "competition". These are your competitors that you need to beat. When I say "beat", I'm talking about getting to the top of the results for this keyword (Blue Widgets).

You want to get the top results so that when a user searches for the term Blue Widgets, they visit YOUR website. Once they visit your website/blog/article - there is a good chance that they will follow the link you want them to follow (ie, Affiliate Link to make the purchase) to get the results you're looking for.

For Keyword research, we can use a free tool such as the Google Keyword Tool, or even a paid tool such as NicheBot

OK, so we've got the gist of it all, right? Alright, let's continue.

So here's the plan:

1) Find a product you want to promote (Green Widgets)

2) Find a search term you want users to type into the search engines (keyword research - NicheBot?) ... let's say it's "Green Widget Review".

3) Create an Article based on the term "Green Widget Review" (honest review is what really works!)

4) Use the term "Green Widget Review" as the Title of the Article -- and then use it somewhere near the top of the Article, but use it for readers - don't make it look and feel spammy

5) Make the Article at least 500 Words Minimum and try to include some other Keywords that are related to the Product for extra searches. (Blue Widgets, Red Widgets, etc)

6) Submit the Article - but be sure to include a link to your Website/Landing Page/Blog at the bottom of the article in the Author SIG - Resource box.

7) Be sure that your landing page is ready for these articles. Have more information related to the product, a better review, a purchase page, etc.

8) You can also just link straight to the Merchants page if you use a site like Squidoo.com

9) Rinse and repeat, but use a totally different article for another Article Directory)

Sites such as Squidoo.com and HubPages.com are also great resources to build review or comparison sites or even Informational sites for the Affiliate product. These sites, including EzineArticles.com, get a ton of traffic - but they also get GREAT Search Engine Results!

Discover the Secret Methods for Article Success

I am frequently asked what's the one secret to achieving success in the article marketing business. In a wordWrite. In another wordSubmit. Thats pretty much it. Of course there are some details that you need to consider along the way: a good Resource Box, a great title, and a few other details. But, for the most part, you need to write and submit, again and again.

Occasionally, Ill write just one or two articles and Ill submit them to my entire list of article submission sites, about 150. When I feel more energetic, I write four to five articles and submit them to a list of about forty sites. On my best days, Ill crank out ten or more articles and submit them to my top 10 sites. Id like to submit them to more sites, but I just dont have the time when submitting that many articles.

It takes a considerable amount of time to submit an article to my large 150 site list. I can submit to my 50 site list in about forty minutes. And I can submit an article to the short 10 site list in less than fifteen minutes.

By submitting an article to 50 or so sites, you can expect to get between 100 and 200 links over a six-month period. Im quite happy with that. Thats one of the reasons, although not the main one, that I write articles. The other reason is that Im rather fond of money. That parts not too bad either.

Most people that ask me about the secret of success are what I call casual writers. They wrote a few articles and submitted each one to one or two sites. Much to their surprise, they didnt make any money and they haven't witnessed increased traffic. They think that article marketing doesnt work.

To be really successful writing articles, Im talking about 6 figure successful; you need to write about 1000 articles per year. Thats three a day, every day!

I operate my article business according to an old saying: Work for a while like nobody will, live the rest of your life like nobody can! In closing, I've got just two things to say, Write! Submit!

How To Get Your Articles Published Online

Article marketing, using articles to boost your traffic and sales, is one of the most effective online marketing strategies you can use. Why you ask? Because articles are the perfect marketing tools for promoting any website or product.

However, it is not just simply a matter of throwing a few words together on a webpage and hoping for the best. To effectively use articles as marketing tools you must follow some simple procedures and practices in order to get your articles published online and in ezines more often.

Here are some article marketing tips you can try. These methods are proven and have worked for thousands of professional online marketers including the one writing this piece.

Why Articles Work

But before we start, you must understand why articles are so crucial to your marketing in the first place. You must truly understand why and how articles work so effectively as marketing vehicles in our newly wired world. It all boils down to one word... information.

The main reason articles work is information. The whole Internet is based on information. People use the web to access information and your well written article can help satisfy this need. You must place your article squarely into this whole information cycle.

Your article must be informative and provide some benefit to the reader. Tips, advice, how-to... your reader should gain something from spending a few minutes reading your article. The more beneficial your article, the more popular it will become and you will have a better chance of getting it published.

Title & Keywords

Your article title should contain two vital elements: Keywords and Benefits. Your title must contain your keywords or keyword phrases, these are the exact words someone types into the search engines to find what they are looking for on the web.

You must find the exact words people are using and include these in your title as well as in your article. Many professional marketers use keyword research software like Keyword Elite but you can also use free keyword suggestion tools like WordTracker or Overture: http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion/

I find short catchy titles are best for capturing the attention of the reader. With our split second surfing habits, the title may be your only chance you get to hook your readers and keep them on your page. Another tactic is to make all your articles easily scannable with your main points highlighted for quick absorption.

Length

Most experts suggest you keep your articles short, in the 500 - 700 word range. Many authors/marketers use even shorter formats in the 200 - 300 word range in order to fit neatly on webpages.

I personally have found my more meatier articles in the 900 - 1200 word range have worked the best for me and seems to get featured in important ezines like Addme, SiteProNews... more often than shorter articles. My best advice is to cut out any unnecessary fluff but write in your own natural style which is comfortable for you.

Submission

You must distribute your articles on the web. You can personally submit your articles to the many article directory sites on the web or you can purchase a service which does this for you. I do both.

I personally submit my articles to the major high PR6 or PR7 sites which display my articles. I have found articles placed on Ezinearticles.com, Buzzle.com, Goarticles.com, Articlealley.com, Promotionworld.com, Thumbshots.org, Site-reference.com, Ideamarketers.com, Selfgrowth.com... do extremely well.

I would suggest you use 9 or 10 of these highly popular sites to display your articles, not only for the traffic they deliver but for increasing your rankings in the search engines, especially Google.

I have also found using a paid online service like SubmitYourArticle is really helpful, especially when I am on vacation or away from my computer for any length of time. I also use this service to quickly write different versions of my articles for the best search engine optimization. I am also concerned with covering different article lengths because many webmasters will only publish short articles.

Resource Box/Anchor Text

Your resource box is at the end of each article and this is where you place URLs for those all important One-Way links back to your site. Many marketers are careful to place their targeted keywords and variations in the anchor text of their links. It is also a good idea to provide some benefit or free gift to enhance your 'call to action' and improve your chances of getting that all important click.

Be Consistent

I have found a steady supply of fresh articles on a regular basis works the best. These articles keep your site or products fresh in the search engines and in front of your potential customers and editors/webmasters who publish your content. Try for at least two articles per week.

Own List of Editors

Along the same lines, build your own opt-in list of editors and webmasters who have opted in to receive your latest articles. Send a copy of your article to these interested parties and you will increase your chances of getting your articles published.

I also make it a point of including my most popular articles in my own ezines and blogs. This helps to kickstart or launch my newest articles.

Autoresponders

Many marketers place their articles in autoresponders so anyone requesting your article can easily use email to retrieve it. Many marketers also use RSS feeds to distribute their articles. If doing your own feeds seems too complicated, then just use any of the major article directories like Ezinearticles which will supply you with a convenient RSS feed for your articles.

Spam Check Your Articles

I always make it a point of testing my articles for any words or phrases that will trigger the spam filters and block my articles. This is extremely important if you want your article to be featured in ezines and newsletters. I check my articles within my Aweber autoresponder service but you can use a free SpamCheck service offered by SiteSell: http://bizwaremagic.com/spamcheck.htm

Personality

Articles that show some originality and personality have worked the best for me. Showing and telling your own story and experiences in a light hearted way seems to work really well in the somewhat impersonal online world. Having a sense of humor also helps, try to make your articles entertaining as well as informative and your articles will be picked up more often.

Conclusion

Writing unique informative articles is one of the most effective ways to market on the web. Remember to keep your articles informative, personable, keyword rich, short and to the point. Take a pro-active approach to promoting your articles: submit them to the major online article directories, send them to editors and webmasters who request content from you and place your articles on your site, in your blogs and RSS feeds.

Used properly, articles can be effective marketing tools for boosting both your traffic and sales. Perhaps the best part of all, article marketing is completely free. What more can you ask for?

Article Marketing - 5 Secret Ways to Turn Your Ad Into an Article That Drives Mega Traffic

That ten word ad could be a 300-500 word power-marketing tool that drives targeted traffic to your website with a sales pitch that not only grabs your readers attention but keeps them coming back for more... And more... And more. If you implement the process in just the right way, you may even get word of mouth referrals from your high-impact laser targeted ad copy articles.

1. Tell a story. Capture your audience with the creative writing you learned in high school Tell them a story about your product and how Cinderella succeeded in capturing the interest of her Prince Charming with your product.

2. Lead your audience to your website for more information. Leave off the ending of your tale and create the desire to know more by leaving a tag line that brings the reader to your website to get "the rest of the story".

3. Capture their interest before you admit you want to sell them something. Give them information that grabs their attention, sparks their curiosity, and drives them to your site, before you share the fact that you're selling merchandise or services they'll need.

4. Give them something of value in the article that brings them to your site, and welcome them with audacious guest rewards. When you give your reader incredible values, they come back often and bring friends because they want more. They'll buy from you, because you give them value.

5. Lead the reader with a question and while they're attempting to answer your question drive them to your website and share their solution with magnetically attractive product and service marketing that keeps them buying your "stuff".

Article Marketing - My Philosophy That Drives Me To Massive Article Marketing Success

Here's my philosophy on article marketing: The purpose of an article is to generate traffic. And it's very probable that more than half the visitors to an article don't even read it (though I hope you're not one of them!). Quality of your articles is important, and so is the quantity with which you write them and submit them!

When people click through on your articles, most will just click through to your site link in your resource box, decide to buy or optin or whatever it is, or just click away from your article. A very small percentage will even read your article. Maybe 1 in 10. That's 10 readers for every 100 visitors. And the title of an article is just as important than the content. You should be spending plenty of time crafting out a quality title.

I'd rather produce a good informative article that gets the point across than try to produce an article that will take hours to write. Some people have minds that race, and others can get in 30-50 words a minute. Some people have both. That's a lethal concoction for article marketing. If you can type very quickly and are already well versed in the topic, then you can crank out a 250-300 words article in 10 to 15 minutes without doing any research.

Most people write articles and when you read them, it reads like a textbook. You'd want to be conversational in your articles. Think about the most entertaining books you have read; more likely than not, the tone of the book was conversational. It was as if the author was sitting in a caf with you and having a lively discussion. That's how you want to write your articles!

Your titles can be your most powerful tool in persuading online users to take interest on your articles so make sure that they are all attention-grabbing, striking, thought-provoking, and intriguing. It would also help if you can communicate the benefits that your articles can offer to your readers so they will be more compelled to invest their time on your content.

2. Learn how to hold the interest of your readers. You would want your readers to read your articles in their entirety so you can increase the chances of your resource box being clicked. Thus, make sure that you will not lose their interest when reading your articles by making your content useful, interesting, and enjoyable to read.

3. Improve your writing skills. If you want to get ahead of the pack and stay on top of the game, you must be able to consistently offer your readers well-written content. You need to learn how to communicate your ideas using perfect grammar and the most appropriate words so you can easily get your message across. There are so many ghostwriters in the internet today who are more than willing to write your articles for a fee. You can also hire an article poster who can manually post your articles to hundreds of article submission sites and various directories in the internet today.

Article Marketing - How to Build an Empire Writing Five Articles a Month

Do you offer a truly brilliant product or service? Do you wish you had more leads to sell it to? Do you need to drive more revenue so you have cash on hand to spend on implementing better and better ideas, or to bring on additional staff? If you are answering "yes" to these questions, YOU NEED A MORE EXCEPTIONAL ONLINE PRESENCE THROUGH ARTICLE MARKETING!

With so much business and research being done on the internet these days, you absolutely have to be found there, and found at least a hundred different ways. Anything less and you are missing out on TONS of business that you could be creating! Do you have any idea how much more revenue you could be generating if you took the time to craft a well written article marketing campaign?

I'm telling you it's millions! Let me show you how...

For the purpose of this article, we will already assume that your website does an exceptional job of describing the pain of your customers (what are they looking for?), presenting your credentials (to help the visitor see why you are qualified to solve their problems), and providing the solutions to your customer's everyday problems. We'll assume that it is filled with calls to action (provocative statements intended to poke the visitor into doing something) and opt-in opportunities (ways for you to collect visitor's contact info).

If your website does not yet include all of these elements address these issues first!

If it does, READ ON AND LET'S DISCUSS THE POWER OF ARTICLE MARKETING.

When people have a question, they go to Google, Yahoo or MSN and they type in a list of keywords or keyword phrases. The words they type determine the list that comes up on the search engines and it is there that magic can happen. YOUR WORDS CAN APPEAR! Are they up there now?

TIME OUT: Go to a search engine and type in the keywords someone might use if they were looking for someone to solve the problem that your business solves. Do you come up as the solution? Do you come up in the organic list? Do you come up multiple times?

If not, keep reading!

YOU NEED ARTICLES OUT THERE DOING YOUR WORK FOR YOU!

When someone is looking for a business like yours, does your voice ring out from the heavens, providing guidance, words of wisdom, and words of inspiration? Does Google bring them to your front door and invite them in to look around? Articles are like little sales people, and brilliantly, they are little sales people that you only have to hire one time to work for you FOREVER. Let me say that again, because you probably didn't hear me. Articles work for you FOREVER. F-O-R-E-V-E-R.

The reason I emphasize this is because of the power of article marketing. Every time you put together an article and send it out onto the internet, you are putting in place a sales person that will forever deliver your message. Do that again and again and you are putting out a SALES FORCE -each of which you pay only once!

WRITE ARTICLE, SUBMIT ARTICLE, REPEAT

WRITE ARTICLE, SUBMIT ARTICLE, REPEAT

WRITE ARTICLE, SUBMIT ARTICLE, REPEAT

Like the law of compounding interest with money - repeatedly putting out articles onto the internet will exponentially create value and generate more and more leads for your business. If you can commit to five articles per month, at the end of three months, you'll have FIFTEEN (15) sales people talking your talk and introducing searchers to your message and your SOLUTION to their problem. After six months, you've got thirty (30) of these sales people. At the end of one year, you'll have sixty (60). After two years, you'll have ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY, and...

After three years, YOU'LL HAVE NEARLY 200 SALES PEOPLE delivering different and exceptional messages about your business. And the most wonderful thing, is that they are all little replicas of you. So they are consistent. They deliver different messages, present different solutions, cover different topics, but they all express your unique methodology and the core values and spirit of YOUR business.

If you were to submit five articles per month, and generate $30,000 per month in revenue, after three years, and one hundred and eighty articles you have the potential of driving $360,000 of monthly revenue. Yes, I said MONTHLY revenue. That's more than 4 MILLION in annual revenue. Are you kidding me? So why aren't more people utilizing article marketing? The answer is - they are. But they are writing terrible articles!!!!! And they are killing their businesses, because each article they are sending out is doing BAD business for them, and doing it FOREVER!

SO WHAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BAD ARTICLE MARKETING AND GOOD ARTICLE MARKETING?

Here are five things your article marketing MUST do! (Are you taking notes?)

1. IT MUST HAVE A CATCHY TITLE OR NO ONE WILL READ IT!

We are a snippet society. We read everything in headlines from newspaper stories, to search headlines, to book titles. Titles grab us or they don't. Make sure that yours is clever, provides the solution to the reader's problem, and utilizes your keywords!

2. YOUR OPENING PARAGRAPH NEEDS TO HIGHLIGHT THE READER'S PAIN.

Look at the first paragraph of this article. Did it draw you in? Did it help you to determine that this article had value? Make the opening emotionally impacting by grabbing the reader's attention and identifying with their PAIN!

3. YOUR ARTICLE MARKETING MUST DELIVER VALUE.

It must offer them a solution to their problem. GIVE AWAY YOUR SECRETS! Don't be afraid to give your reader what they need for FREE. Chances are they are going to recognize that they would rather work with an expert than try to solve this problem on their own. Give someone a fish and they have dinner tonight. Teach them to fish and they can feed themselves forever. But open a grocery store down the street and chances are, they'll buy the fish from you. People only have so much time in their days and if they find a trustworthy source that can make their life easier or their business more profitable, they are going to take you up on it!

4. YOU MUST USE YOUR KEYWORDS WITHIN YOUR TEXT.

The search engines are going to identify each article by the words within it. So you have to be thinking about how people are going to find you. What words are they going to use in their searching? There are so many resources on the net that can help you determine the right keywords. Find one and use it. Then repeat those words throughout your article (just shy of being irritating about overusing them) and you'll find greater success!

5. LASTLY, YOUR ARTICLE MARKETING MUST PROVIDE A CALL TO ACTION.

Lead the reader to do something. Whether it be to download your eBook, call you directly, or click onto your website. Typically, you want to lead them to the next thing they can get for FREE. People like FREE. So lead them to your website, where they can download an eBook that solves this same problem but in more depth, or better yet, offer them a FREE strategy session if they contact you by email. Make it easy for them, like "Hey, I'll even have my assistant set up a time for me to talk to you directly for 20 minutes about ways you can build your business based on these principles. FREE."

Wishing you the best in business and the best in life.

How to Increase Your Web Site Link Popularity

Link popularity is without doubt one of the most important aspects of a search engine ranking algorithm - this variable tells the search engine how many web sites out there are linking to your web site, which gives a really good indication of how popular or important your site is.

Your web site NEEDS links, it can't survive at the top of the search engine rankings without them. In this article I am going to explain how anyone can get good quality links for their web site, without paying for them...

Link building for your web site is not technically difficult, it just requires some time and dedication to do the job properly. If you don't have the time and discipline to do the job right, I strongly suggest hiring someone - WCR Internet Marketing provides this service in some of their Web Marketing plans.

I recommend only looking for links from sites that are related to your site. If you can't determine a relationship between your site and theirs, move along, there are plenty more sites out there that are more relevant!

Always remember why you have a web site - you want people to find your site useful, so make sure you are only linking to useful, relevant content. Think about this - if a surfer is browsing a site about rebuilding a car engine, they aren't likely to find a mortgage broker link very useful, are they? Stick to linking amongst relevant sites, and I guarantee you that in the long term your site will benefit greatly.

This is the 6 Step process we use when building links for clients:

1) Determine what sort of links you want.

This is extremely important. The types of links that you're looking for are industry specific. If you have a web site that is focussed on the rebuilding of car engines, you will be looking for links in the automotive or car related areas in directories. If you are selling electrical contracting services, you will want to look for regional listings or general business listings to find possible links.

2) Find your source of links.

So we're looking for links that are relevant to your web site. The best place to source your links are directories such as DMOZ. Go to a directory, browse through to a category that suits your site (a lot of the time there will be more than one suitable category) and you will see a whole lot of other relevant sites, perfect for sourcing quality links. Try the directories below, they should keep you going for a while:

http://directory.google.com
http://directory.yahoo.com
http://dmoz.org

3) Determine whether or not a site is relevant.

It's time to start visiting web sites. Have a look at each site one by one to see if a link to your site would realistically fit in. A webmaster isn't likely to want to change the structure of their site just to add a link to you, so if you don't think you're going to fit in, close the site and move along to the next. If you think you have a chance of getting linked, move on to the next step.

4) Determine where on the site your link would fit best.

If it's a directory that you're browsing through, find the most appropriate category for your site. If it's just a web site, have a look for a links page or any other pages that have links or might be suitable to have links on it.

5) Submit your site.

If it's a directory that you're on, once you are in the appropriate category for your web site, look around the page for a place to submit your site. Quite often you will find something like "Add URL", "Submit your site" or "Add a link" etc. Use this link to submit your site.

If you're on a relevant web site and there is no "Add URL" function, you will need to find an email address for the webmaster. Keep in mind that when emailing the webmaster, always personalize your request - don't just copy and paste a template to thousands of different webmasters - that's a sure way to have your request sent straight to the recycle bin.

Take the time to look around for a name, it won't always be available, but when it is - use it. Let the webmaster know where you think it might be suitable to have a link to your site and let him know if you are happy to reciprocate the link. At the end of the day, the easier you make it for them, and the more polite your request is, the more likely you are to end up with a link.

6) Document all of your work.

I can't stress this point enough, it is absolutely the most important part of any link building campaign. Create a Word document with all your site information in it (Title, Description, URL). Also in this Word document, have a few email templates prepared for different scenarios - I know I said don't use templates, but you don't have to type out every request every time you want to ask for a link - make up a template that you can fill out specific information on like the web site address, where you would like your link to be placed etc.

Make sure you also document each individual link request you make - every time you ask someone for a link, write it down in your Word document. That way, at a later date, you can go through the list and check who is linking to you and who isn't.

In Closing

Remember to be patient and keep your eye out for new potential links. Improving your web site link popularity won't send your web site straight to the top of the search engine rankings, but it will help you in the long term. If you plan on building a successful web site over a number of years, a properly organized link building campaign will do you the world of good. Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day.

How To Overcome The Nightmare Of Article Marketing

Yes we know writing articles is a great website marketing strategy that can ramp up any online business. Look at all the positives - more web site traffic, better visibility for your business, increased link popularity, repeat visitors, free advertising and a gaggle of other good stuff. All of this is true. However, if the thought of sitting down at your computer and cranking out content on a regular basis makes you break out in hives, than article marketing is a nightmare.

The reality is that doing business online requires web content. You have probably seen a few sites that contained nothing but an advertising banner. These sites do not last long. Why? Because people want useful information not a sales page and search engines want content. It's tough to build a customer base and get referrals if people have nothing to go on. The key to online success is to give both groups exactly what they want.

However none of this changes the fact that you would rather watch television test patterns that write articles. So what can you do?

1. Hire Someone. There are many writers who for a certain fee will crank out articles for you. There are also a number of article writing companies online. You tell them the topic you are interested in, agree on the price and they will write a set number of articles for you. Many of these places are of top quality but you should understand one thing: No matter how much you discuss it with the writer, there is only one person that can give you exactly what you want one hundred percent of the time and that's you. Still, hiring someone to write remains a viable option.

2. Free articles If you can think of a topic, the odds are someone has already written about it. Start perusing some the major article directories. Most of these sites will indicate that it is okay to use the articles on you website as long as you follow their guidelines. This usually means ensuring you give the author credit, not modifying the article in any way and including the author's resource box or byline at the end of the article.

All of this should go without saying. Plagiarizing or not giving the author credit only leads to negative (and totally unnecessary) ramifications for you and your business. You are trying to build credibility. Once you throwaway trust it's hard to get it back so do the right thing. Also as a courtesy if the link in their resource box does not work do some investigating and activate it. Who knows? Someone may do the same for you down the line.

3. Other webmasters

Find site owners in your niche who write their own content and invite them to post on your blog web site. It's not only a good way to get instant web site content but you can also establish potential link and joint venture partners. Getting free articles from other webmasters has great advantages. Unfortunately, the downside is the article links are pointing toward their website.

That's just another reason to write your own articles. The more websites that link back to you without requiring a reciprocal link, the better search engines will rank your site. By all means if your budget allows it hire a proven writer or article company to provide web content. Outsourcing (the good kind) is an important component to growing your business. You should also use the free articles that are available online to build your website.

But start writing. Providing original information gives search engines and visitors something unique that only you can provide. Seeing your business grow by leaps and bounds will overcome any lingering nightmare about article marketing.
