The Thought Behind Your Articles in E-Commerce

The goal of article marketing, as with any marketing effort, is to get traffic to your site and converts, meaning making sales. Article marketing is able to accomplish this objective quite effectively. In fact, article marketing is one of the most effective means of marketing strategy in existence, and this has been so since the emergence of Internet Marketing.

We use article marketing to build trust and credibility with our readers by providing them with quality information that they can use. The key is to provide good quality information, but not to provide a mixture of everything there is on the topic in one article, or in any articles that you submit.

By doing this, you are not doing your readers a disservice. You are leading them to get the rest of the information from your website, for which you will provide a link in your authors resource box at the end of the article.

A typical article that is submitted is between 300 and 500 words in length. From there, the reader should be directed to a link to your sales page as in your website for an additional 300 to 500 words.

You may also promote products directly in your article content, but the information must remain informative and does not come off as a sales letter. Making use of an article to disguise as a sales letter article will not help you at all. If anything, it will make you look unprofessional, damaging your credibility in the process.

The same applies to your resource box. There should not be a sales pitch in your resource box. It should be actual information about you, not more than a paragraph long in length, with a link to your website at the end informing the reader that they can learn more about the topic in question from your website.

Take note, the idea is to establish and present yourself as an expert in the field, to inform the reader, and then to direct them to your website for more information. The article is to provide only good quality information, the selling is done at the website!

Article Marketing - Key Words? What Are They and How Do They Relate to Article Marketing? Part IV

In the previous articles you learned a lot about key words and how they are used as tools by people who are looking for information. Then we found out that just about everything on the internet is tracked. Because of this, we are able to learn more about what people are looking for and we can even see how many websites there are trying to supply information, products or services to the people that are looking.

Let's make up a scenario based on what we have learned and how it would be used in real life. This is just a fictitious example. Let's say I decided I wanted to promote an affiliate program for website hosting. I am just going to lay out for you what my train of thinking would be.

I do some key word research and I come up with 200 key words related to website hosting. After researching those words, I find 30 that aren't looked up the most, because all of the most searched words had too much competition. But I found 30 that are looked up regularly but don't have the huge numbers of suppliers with sites with those key words.

Now I do some research on those 30 words, and make sure I have plenty of good information and get a very strong understanding of the ins and outs of hosting. Then I write 3 articles for each key word, using the key word in the title of each article. I do this assuming that the hosting company that I have chosen to sign up as an affiliate for, has a very good product, and an excellent sales letter already provided for their affiliates (me).

Now here is the magic of article marketing. First, even if I knew a fair amount about my topic before, you can just imagine how much better I know the topic after I have written almost 100 articles. Second, I put a squeeze page in between my article readers and my hosting company.

How do I do this? I write a quick sales letter offering a free report on the ins and outs of choosing a web hosting company. This is easy, because I just wrote almost 100 articles. And now, I get the name and email address of everyone that clicks one of my links in my articles to get the free report before reading the sales letter of the hosting company.

Now you might be asking yourself, did I miss something? Is it really that easy? Why does this work? How do paying customers get to my affiliate link to buy web hosting? Next I will explain this to you from the customer's perspective because that is how you will see just how good it really does work.

How To Use Article Marketing To Benefit Your Business

If you love to write, then you're one step further to using article marketing to benefit you and your business. Pick a topic you need to learn more about or one that you are interested in. Do the required research, and make it into a resourceful article. Write articles that relate to your business. Also, concentrate on topics that you know people will be searching for. Use specific keywords in your articles so the search engines will find them...thus, resulting in finding your business.

The following steps will guide you through the article marketing process...

1. Find ideas for your articles. This can be accomplished in a number of ways.

* Participate in business message forums
* Participate in chat rooms
* Join discussion groups
* Blog
* Subscribe to ezines

Ask questions, read, and learn. The result will lead you to some innovative article ideas.

You can also get ideas from actually reading other articles. You should never copy content from another person's article...but rather, come up with an unusual twist or angle and make it your own.

2. When you have a topic for an article, give it a title and start writing it. If you are not an expert on the subject, you will need to do some research. Keep in mind WHY you are writing the article. You should be writing articles that are geared toward getting traffic to your website or business. Make them interesting and resourceful...making the reader WANT to visit your site.

3. Once you have written your article and have checked it for errors, you will need to start submitting it to various message forums and article directories. Try to choose directories with a high page rank. The ones with higher page ranks will have more importance with the search engines.

4. Always include your resource box at the end of your written article. This will include for example: your name and a link to your website or business. When people read your article you will have your link right there for them to click on and visit. Website owners are always searching for content for their websites. They often search in article directories. When they download your article, they also download your resource box. The more articles you write and submit to directories...the more links you will have directing people to your business.

Articles are one of the most effective marketing tools on the Internet today. Use it and benefit from it. Don't be afraid of it. Write about what you know, and keep writing, and success will follow.

What Is Article Marketing And How I Got Started With This Business Model - Part 1

The very first Internet marketing technique I learned when I started online in early 2006 was article marketing. At first, I didn't really believe this would work and I didn't take action.

I bought a cheap ebook called secret affiliate weapon and I read the material. One of the pdfs was about article marketing and was called lazy traffic. I read and didn't take action like most of the people online. After a while, I got a coach and he taught us affiliate marketing. I was stuck because he was teaching us the exact same tactics and strategies I learned before.

Since we had daily assignments, I was forced to write those articles because one of the condition of this coaching program was to do the tasks in time. If you failed, you could be dropped from the program.

I submitted article manually for the first time to ezinearticles, goarticles, article city, article dashboard and a couple of other directories. I can tell you that I was typing and submitting like crazy. I didn't have money in my early beginning and I couldn't hire a ghostwriter or even use a submission software. I needed to do the work alone.

I forget to say that I was enrolled in the program by submitting articles. The entrance fee was $197 a pop, and although I had a burning desire to enroll in this mentoring course, I didn't have the money at the time.

Happily, there was an alternative option for marketers on a budget. All I had to was to submit forty articles with the mentor's resource box at the end. I was so happy! I wrote those 40 articles on the fly. It was my very first batch of articles, and I must admit that grammar and punctuation was bad. But I have no choice, I took action and submitted the articles.

Aggressive Article Marketing Strategies That Will Automatically Create A 6-Figure Income

Article marketing is one of the very best ways that you can build a six figure income. I am sure if you have just read that previous statement you will want to read it again.

You may have written a few articles and gotten some results, but not realized how powerful this method of marketing actually is. However, it is a numbers game and the more articles that you have out there the higher your number of subscribers and sales.

So let us look at how you generate money from article marketing in forensic detail. You need to write articles focusing on your niche market and submit them to all the article directories. Here you will get free search engine traffic because these directories have a very high page rank. You will include a link to your squeeze page in your resource box. When somebody reads your article and likes what you have to say they will click through to your website and subscribe to your newsletter. Using your autoresponder you can follow up and convert them from a subscriber into a paid customer.

Now one of the biggest problems with article marketing is that you need thousands of articles to generate a six figure income. Also writing and submitting them to directories takes a very long time as this is extremely time intensive. So for most people they simply do not do the volume that is required to achieve a six figure income.

Now the expert article marketers outsource everything. They may have started doing everything themselves to get everything going and generate a profit, but once they start earning a decent income they hire people to write the articles and submit them to the different directories. Using sites like Elance you can easily find people to do all of this and I know of one article marketer who pays a dollar for every article that gets written.

Lucrative Article Marketing - Uncover 5 Intriguing Methods to Jumpstart Your Article Marketing

If you are seriously thinking of using articles marketing to drive traffic to your site, pull up your search engine ranking, establish your expertise in your chosen field, and generate more income, you need to uncover these 5 intriguing methods so you can jumpstart your article marketing:

1. Make sure that you only submit original content. Copying somebody else's work in article marketing is a big no-no. This will not only tarnish your credibility online, but you will also be penalized by major search engines.

2. Target human emotions when writing your article. Instead of focusing your efforts on logical reasoning, touch your readers' emotions by pushing their buttons. How? If you are selling diet pills, focus on how weight gain affects the confidence and social life of your readers.

3. Keep your paragraphs shorter. Ideally, you should explain one idea on every paragraph. As a writer, you must be able to explain that idea in 4-5 sentences. You can easily do that by finding the most appropriate words to get your message across and eliminating fillers and fancy words to make your paragraph direct to the point and brief.

4. Provide your readers with useful information. Make sure that the content of your articles contain information that are highly relevant to your readers. If they are facing problems, be sure to offer solution. When you do this, online users will appreciate your writing and you will build a huge following in no time.

5. Make every word count. When you are using fillers and other unnecessary words on your articles, you are wasting your readers' precious time. To make your readers feel that you value their time, strike out words that do not help you in getting your message across.

If you know how to write articles and how to use SEO and smart pages to promote a product then you should find internet marketing fairly simple. If you have not yet been successful, you must be missing something.

The way to write articles is to carefully consider the product you are trying to sell and write down as many aspects of it that people would to want it for as you can. Then write an articles on each of these reasons why people should purchase your product. Make the articles simple, explain very clearly what the product can do, and why the reader should buy it.

Your title should be based upon the particular benefit of your article that you are writing about, and then you will be sure that the reader is focused on what you are offering. He or she will not just b a casual reader, but somebody that has searched for your topic, and decided to read your article based upon the title. Make sure that you write about the topic of the subject line and you will have a good chance that the reader will want to read more.

Then use your authors resource box to advertise a page on your website that can provide further information on the product: not just your home page, but one relevant to the product. That might be a review page on the product, a presales page if it is an affiliate product or your own sales page if it is your own product. Whatever it is, it must relate to the product or your visitor will leave immediately: a good prospect lost forever.

The SEO side of it comes to back up your writing. You cannot just rely on article readers to buy your product, but you also need visitors to your site from the search engines. Optimize your website properly to persuade the search engines that your website is good enough to provide a visitor with the information they want on your subject. I am not going to tell you how to do that here since it will take too long, but my resource box provides further information.

One way to use obscure keywords that a few people use now and again is to use smart pages. Using smart pages, you can use hundreds of different keywords, and even if each only gets used once daily, you will get hundreds of extra traffic every day. Smart pages work for me and they can work for you.

To generate them you need to produce a web page for each keyword. Once you have done that, you should write a redirect, so that visitors to the smart page do not actually land on it, but land on another page of your choice that could be a squeeze page or a sales page. That is up to you.

By combining article writing, SEO and smart pages, you should be able to drive enough traffic to your website to sell any product you want.

Article Marketing - How To Make Money

Selling articles is a type of advertising that is now universal and trendy among online businesses. Firms have been created solely to provide unique articles with unique content for web pages as a method for their promotion.

Article marketing has encouraged the writers by providing them to display their articles for free. Due to this, we find article directories having long lists of free articles which may be helpful to the viewers to get information they want and to the website by increasing its viewers. Some sites offer their own articles only so as to keep their content in limit.

An important feature of article marketing is SEO targeting by using specific key words. Articles will be germane to the overall content of a website but will be loaded with certain words and phrases to make web crawler programs detect them and lead those who search the terms to see the page on a results page and then to visit the site.

Some articles contain misspelled words and poorly-worded phrases to ensure uniqueness and to bring searches who misspell words to the sites. This brings traffic, but many visitors may be unlikely to stay on a page with spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. They may assume any product is as bad as the spelling.

Article marketing can provide you with revenue in several ways. The primary source of profit is by linking to sites to generate traffic from visitors, to sell products online, or to provide in some other way for the needs of those who are intrigued by the articles and drawn to the site. You can also offer your articles to other website owners, and tailor the articles to their needs.

Some site owners think that generating traffic is everything, even though they make little money if no one buys their services or clicks on ads. High quality articles are important because they encourage visitors to stay longer when they visit and to make return visits. They generally give your site a professional atmosphere that encourages visitors to purchase your goods or services. Good articles are worth the extra expense.

Those with writing skills can of course create their own copy, but many people prefer ghost written articles commissioned from professional writers. Some recruit individuals and others utilize online sites where articles may be solicited and purchased. These are then placed in directories and sites but will be credited to the purchaser, not the actual author.

Best Article Marketing - 4 Incredible Methods to Energize Your Article Marketing

If you want to attract more people to your website, you need to figure out some effective ways on how you can offer them with what they really need - information. The best marketing tool that can help you achieve your goal is article marketing. Through this, you will be able to impart your knowledge to your target market to build rapport and trusting business relationship.

Here are the 4 incredible methods to energize your article marketing:

1. Write from the readers' perspective. To make your articles highly targeted, useful, and focused, you need to keep your potential readers in mind when writing your content. Consider their needs, their demands, their language, and the solution they require to resolve their pressing issues.

2. Choose your topics. The best way to ensure that you will benefit from your article marketing campaign is to write topics that are closely relevant to your products. Simply put, writing articles about clothes when you are selling food supplements will not drive interested parties on your website.

3. Use powerful resource box. In this section, you can make your call to action to move your readers to either visit your site or join your email marketing list. Whatever is your objective in publishing your articles, make sure that your resource box is compelling enough to maximize your chances of realizing your marketing goals. Adsense and Pay Per Click For Writers - Exchanging Words For Dollars

What is the main goal of every writer? Ask this question of one thousand writers and chances are strong that the overwhelming response will be: "To get published." I'm here to tell you that all of these writers are wrong. Here's why. If these polled writers were pressed further, I'd bet that they want to get published because that would get them to the real goal...Getting paid.

How many authors would agree to a publishing deal that offered no money? Would you? I thought not.

So, let's skip the publishing deal, and get you paid. We'll save the publishing thing until you're making a few dollars and generating consistent income from your writing. We've all done our share of research. Even when writing fiction, research comes into play and gives your writing a richer feel .You get depth and layers. But, this isn't a course on how to, or the benefits of, research. You'll need to know all of that to continue.

Think of Google as a publisher that will pay you to research a topic, and develop a web site with relevant quality content on that topic. You're also free to pick any topic you want. Once you write five to ten pages on the topic, all you do to get paid from Google is add some code to the pages from Google's AdSense site. If you don't already have an account, you will have to take the two minutes it takes to apply for one.

After inserting the code, when you post your pages to the web; they will display ads geared towards the topic you wrote about. Ads that will be targeted to, and of interest, to people who will visit your pages.

The AdSense ads aren't typical ads, meaning that no one needs to buy anything for you to get paid. They are Pay Per Click ads. You get paid every time someone clicks on the ad whether they buy something or not.

It's a great concept that writers just like yourself are using to build six figure incomes by building several sites. Once the initial work is done, the income is residual. The possible money to be made from dedicated writers is staggering. I've seen, and am, living proof of the power of this process. By employing these simple tactics, my online income has exceeded my offline writing income, and the online income continues to grow every month whether I work at it or not.

So, here's to you not getting published. Let me be the first to congratulate you.

Internet Marketing Using Articles - How Do You Generate Income From Articles?

What is it about articles that attract so many to publish so much content to the net? Mainly it would be for one of three reasons, the first being that you have absolutely nothing better to do with your time. That is not entirely true but fact is that there are many people writing and publishing articles to websites and article directories simply to share information and knowledge.

The other two reasons are web site related. If you are a webmaster of an established site or your own newly self appointed webmaster of your own website aiming for the internet so you can kick your boss under the butt, the following would be your primary reasons for writing and publishing articles.

From a broader perspective the internet is filled with information contained in a variety of formats. Now those looking for the information use the search engines, quite logical. For the people who have the information published on their sites this is where the trick comes in. The search engines need to find that content and display it as a search result so that the visitor will land on the page of the publisher.

For a webmaster this means traffic and in turn traffic means money. The money can be generated from different avenues but without the traffic there will be no income.

The role of the article, first and foremost is links. Any site that has any hope of getting indexed by the search engines needs links pointing to it. The second reason is sales, at times also referred to as bum marketing, it is a proven method of creating sales and thus generating income using the internet.

Indexing Your Site Using Internet Marketing Articles

For any site to feature in the search engine rankings it needs links pointing to the site telling the search engines that there is a site. The link in the article normally placed in the resource box of the author is the anchor text, these words or key phrases are telling the search engine the content of the site that is linked to and that it should be ranked for those words. For the webmaster these are very important elements in generating traffic.

A site is judged on the links from other sites pointing to that site, the more links a site has the more highly regarded it becomes. This is a very broad description and many other factors play a role but for the purpose of articles these are the basic principals.

Using Internet Marketing Articles to Sell Products

The next very good use of articles is for what is sometimes lovingly referred to as bum marketing. You don't need to be a bum to use this method but it sometimes helps, on second thought, maybe not. In most cases you would not even need a website of your own but your own site would open up some doors to other forms of marketing like list building.

The principals remain the same as for indexing a site but the purpose of the article changes. The content and writing style is aimed at leading the visitor to a product he might be looking for and then sells the product to him. If you are an affiliate for a product the sales page would do the selling part, you just need to get the visitor to the sales page.

Many webmasters and non webmasters have used this technique successfully for a long time now. The problem you are faced with here however is the article itself, how to write it in such a way that you keep the readers interest and move him on to the next step which is clicking on the link leading to the pre sales page or the sales page itself.

Just publishing any old article will not achieve any success and it takes some real time and effort to learn the skills and the little nuances needed to write in such a way until it becomes second nature. Of course this does require practice, repetition and some experimentation.

If you want to write to sell, even if you have never written anything but a love letter before, in which case you sold yourself of course, here is a resource that will guide you through the process of successful writing to sell. If you have been struggling to get the results you are only reading about, now is the time to get what you need to succeed.

Viral Marketing - 3 Reasons Your Free Report Hasn't Gone Viral

For those of you unfamiliar with viral marketing, the concept is simple. Produce something that can be passed easily from one person to another and then encourage them to do so. This can be a free report, audio, video or anything else that can be passed along easily. If all goes well, people start passing your message around. He tells two friends, she tells two friends, they tell two friends kind of thing. As you can see, if your virus catches on, you'll be able to get your message in front of exponentially more people than you could ever do by yourself.

To keep things simple, I'm going to focus on viral reports as the medium of the virus. They have been around for a long time, and are the easiest to develop. But just because they've been around a while, doesn't mean everyone knows how to create a free report that gets spread around like a virus. Later in this article I'm going to go over 3 big reasons free reports fail to become viral.

But first...

I want to make sure you understand WHY viral marketing is so powerful. It might not be immediately understood why getting your message spread around like a virus is so important. In simple terms, it is because it can bring more traffic to your website, can get more people to subscribe to your email list and produce more sales for your products or affiliate recommendations.

So, this is big: don't produce a report that you want to go viral without a link back to your website, a link to promote your list and links to your products or affiliate recommendations. I know this might be obvious, but if you do get a report to go viral, you want to make sure it works to improve your business. The last thing you want si to get a report spreading all over the web that doesn't do anything to bring more traffic, get more subscribers or put more money in your pocket.

And while I'm talking of the obvious... make sure you let them know they can pass it along! You don't want them wondering if it's alright to pass it along. You want them to act.

OK, what are the 3 biggest reasons reports don't go viral?

Reason 1: Wrong Topic. In order for a report to be spread around, it must be something MANY people want to know about. Forget about "niches" for viral reports. You want a BIG, HUNGRY market looking for information. The topic must apply to a lot of people... or else why would someone send it along to their friends?

Once you have your HOT topic in a big market, make sure the title grabs the attention of the market. You need to immediately convey this is something they MUST read.

Reason 2: Poor Quality. Ok, you got your hot topic and get people to download and read your report. The information inside MUST be of high-quality. Yes, this is a free report and shouldn't be expected to give away everything, but it still must be of value all by itself. If it isn't, why would anyone want to pass it along?

So, make sure your free report is "valuable" as a stand-alone report.

Reason 3: No Backup. Even if you create a high-quality report on a HOT topic in a crowded, hungry market... it doesn't mean the report will go viral. Why? Simply, because people are lazy and need a GOOD REASON to take the time to send the report along.

One of the best reasons I can think of to get people to pass along your report is to let them brand the report with their affiliate links. Then they'll pass the report along because the more exposure the report gets, the more likely they are to make money.

But if you really want to get the report spreading like a virus, you should go one step further and provide guidance and resources to help people promote the report. Don't just say, "Send out an email". Give them a email they can cut-and-paste. Give them report graphics. Give them articles. Give them everything they need to make spreading the report as easy and as profitable as possible.

Then you'll have a highly successful viral marketing campaign that spreads quickly.

Original Marketing Article

Original Marketing

Originality should be everywhere. As in writing it is must. It means the article publishes or any write should be proper and should have the decent originality in itself.

Lets have a look over an original article of marketing services. In the present scenario of the marketing there are many terms and services. Some of them are:

According to one study of company strategies in declining industries, five marketing strategies are available to the firm:

1. Increasing the firms investment (to dominate the market).

2. Maintaining the firms investment level until the uncertainties about the industry are resolved

3. Decreasing the firms investment level selectively, by dropping unprofitable customer groups, while simultaneously strengthening the firms investment in lucrative niches.

4. Harvesting (milking) the firms investment to recover cash quickly.

5. Divesting the business quickly by disposing of its assets as advantageously as possible.

But now besides these strategies the market now believes in strategic market. A strategic marketing definition could be everyone who might drink something to quench his or her thirst. Suddenly Pepsis competition would then include non-cola soft-drinks, bottled water, fruit juices, tea-coffee. To better compete, Pepsi might decide to sell additional beverages whose growth rate appears to be promising.

Another major part of marketing is Advertising Marketing. Advertising is used to build up a long term image for the product and its also used to make a brand and it may offer good value.

Another most often used term is niche marketing article. A niche marketing article reaches a more narrowly defined customer group seeking a distinctive mix of benefits. The marketer usually identifies niches by dividing a segment into sub-segments. An alternative to being a follower in a large market is to be a leader in a small market or niche; smaller firms normally avoid competing with larger firms by targeting small marketing of little or no interest to the larger firms. Nichers have three tasks: creating niches, expanding niches and protecting niches.

And other modern marketing services are marketing net, marketing website and internet marketing. The internet has been a letdown for most companies. Certainly the web is at the top of corporate Americas priority list-the $10 billion that large U.S. companies spent on web site development in 1999 is evidence enough of that. Yet in any given month, only about half of the largest U.S. consumer businesses attract more than 400,000 site visitors- and a similar percentage of sites generate no commercial revenue at all. If the economic return is minimal, the strategic payoff is even lower.

Does this mean the internet is of no value to all but a handful of well-positioned companies? Not at all. What it does mean is that most companies need to discard the notion that a web site equals an internet strategy. Instead of trying to create destinations that people will come to, they need to use the power and reach of the internet to deliver tailored messages and information to customer at the point of need. They need to become what we call contextual marketers and using the niche marketing article is using the strategic marketing article.

Video Email Marketing Strategies

Marketing with video email has endless possibilities and potential. Would you like to increase sales, strengthen relationships and generate excitement about your product or service when you email? What, you do not think it possible to do all the above or maybe I am just being overly dramatic. You know that email changed very little since it came out in the early 70s. That, my friends, was over 30 years ago! Let me ask you something. Do you remember the rotary dial phone or curly cord to the hand set? Oh, remember the good old days of the phone booth, you know before the cell phone? The fact is email is evolving, finally! You can be an early adapter, a harbinger if you will, or just wait until everyone else jumps aboard and its common place, the choice is yours. Personally I like what Benjamin Franklin had to say about it, Find out where everyone is going and then get there first.

Video email strategy number one is no secret at all, just do it! Do your research, choose a user friendly, easy to use, inexpensive service and start sending video email to your friends, customers, clients and business associates. If you have not figured it out by now I have found a service and send video email daily. You can add the service I use to your list of potential possibilities for further review. In a nut shell you can start sending video email for as little as $10 a month on a month to month service agreement. You should be able to record your message and send it quickly and easily. Go buy an inexpensive web cam and you are good to go. After trying several different web cams I have found Logitech to be the best.

The very best marketing strategy on the planet is the simplest marketing strategy on the planet. Do you know what most of the wildly popular videos all have in common? Before I let you in on the secret you should know that the end results are huge spikes in sales. Does that interest you? So the secret to a phenomenally successful video is, drum roll,do not sell the product. What? The traditional days of product benefits and features followed by the hard close are DEAD. Instead of selling, mix in comedy with information and feed your customers useful knowledge. They will want to know more and actually look forward to your next video email.

Your video email marketing strategies will always do best when you use the basics. Use comedy, impart nuggets of wisdom with useful product knowledge, do not sell and most importantly have fun.

Make Money with Articles by Using Free Articles Directories

Amongst the many ways of making money with articles, the use of free articles directories is one of the best. Free article directories are websites that house free articles and a simple Google search for "free article directories" revealed 210,000 entries.

Articles are usually placed on these sites by whoever owns the copyright to them as a way of making money with articles with a proven promotion method. Each article has the owners resource box placed under it so that those who eventually read the article will know who wrote it (or at least who owns it).

The article resource box contains your name and a brief bio plus at least one link back to your site or affiliate link. Some of the free article directories will allow you up to three links, which is even better. Thus readers of your article will be able to get in contact with or visit your website for further information.

Articles directories are a great place to put your articles so that they will make you money. By using this method, people who are interested in your product or service will see your article, view you as an expert in the subject, and will visit your website. Even if you cannot write or do not have any knowledge on the subject on which you are promoting (for example if you run an affiliate website), you can always hire a writer to do the work for you.

On the downside, getting quality articles written by a ghostwriter will be expensive to start with, but they will pay for themselves in no time, either through affiliate sales or sales of your own services. After that everything is then pure profit.

An Example:

If you want to think about this as an example; imagine that you are a career coach working from home and you could use some more clients. You write an article on a coaching related topic and submit it to various article directories. People who are looking for information related to the the subject you wrote about will read your article, see that you have the knowledge and skill that is needed to do a job for them, and visit your website or contact you via e-mail. Your article has just gained you a new client who may use your services regularly, but will definitely give you a nice profit at least once.

Furthermore, since you have posted it on a free article directory, others who have affiliate websites related to coaching will almost certainly use your article for their website. Since they must attach your resource box to it, this will bring you even more exposure for every website that re-posts your article and you will benefit from the traffic that they get to their website.

There are numerous article directories out there for you to utilize. Your best bet is to put a copy of each of your articles on every one for maximum exposure. It will eventually help to bring more traffic and customers to your website, which will lead to new orders and more profit. This is one of the simplest ways to make money with articles by using free articles directories.

Effective Article Marketing - How To Create Your Online Publishing Empire That Grows Day After Day!

Every article writer has the ability to create an ebook in less than one day. Many people think they can't write a book. This is totally wrong. In fact, I am going to show you how you, too, can create your own Internet publishing empire.

Does Article Marketing Work?

I am a person who is interested in all aspects of search engine optimisation, web promotion and web marketing. I have to admit that I am a bit of a geek as I love to read through the seo forums. I learn quite a lot from these forums however am also, at times, left feeling a little bemused. I can never quite get my head around the amount of people that criticise article marketing. In this article, I am going to be sticking up for writing articles as a form of website promotion by explaining why I believe article marketing works.

The days of buying links to get you to the top of the search engine rankings has gone. Excessive reciprocal linking has also been banished to the wayside. The importance of obtaining one-way links, links that are not paid for, has never been so apparent.

Writing an article and submitting it to a couple of article directories costs nothing. The article should be around three to find hundred words in length, it should be original and of use to any reader.

I am fully aware that the main links that people gain via article marketing are quite poor, however if you stick with it for long enough, you are bound to obtain a few decent ones as well.

I have been writing and submitting about five articles per week for the last three years now and the results have been quite outstanding.

I am going to continue on this trend and would advise other people to start writing articles as a free and easy way to rise up the rankings. It is quite simple, the more articles you write, the more products you will sell. Good luck and I hope article marketing proves as beneficial to you as it has for me.

SEO From the Beginning

I have talked to a number of people being in the SEO world and have come to the conclusion that search engine optimization starts when you choose a domain name. I know that there are a lot of different opinions on choosing a domain name, but it never hurts to have a few good keywords in it.

When you decide you want to start a website, research your chosen field's keywords before you start. Keyword selection is your best friend in search engine optimization. Know what your niche market is, sometimes what you think is a good keyword is not necessarily what your common web surfer is searching. Professionals in an industry tend to use different terminology than the layman. Keyword research will tell you what people are actually searching for as opposed to what you assume they are searching for.

In some industries you can have many hundreds of good potential keywords, but remember to choose carefully. I generally recommend that you start off with a focused campaign with three to five specific keywords. The reasoning behind this is because if the keyword has a high search value but the term is too general, you may not receive any inquiries because web surfers are not looking for your specific speciality, whereas if you have a keyword that is highly specific towards your site you will find the hits are lower but your inquires have increased.

You may wonder why I spoke about keyword selection before I talked about choosing a domain name. This is because you may want to include a specific keyword in your domain name. When you are choosing a domain name you want to make it memorable, something catchy. If you decide on choosing a domain name, keep in mind keyword density. Although it is not a necessity to have the keyword in your URL to be on the first page, it does hold some weight towards your keyword density.

The next step is having your website built. This is very critical. You should talk to a number of web developers in order to make sure your website is SEO-ready once it is finished. If it is a straight HTML site, be sure to insist on meta tags and titles that are ready to go. Although there is a great debate on the usefulness of meta tags within Google, the description meta tag is used quite often as the Google description when you are searching, as well as Live Search. This is your opener; this will drive people right into your site. Keep this quirky and remember this is really the first impression people will have of your site. If you do not have this meta tag, Google will just take sections of your site that include that specific keyword and it may not make sense.

Content is king. If you have read any articles on search engine optimization or have attempted at SEO yourself you will know how true that statement rings. If you cannot write well, hire a content writer. It is crucial that you have great text for both your visitors and search engines. You have already done the keyword research, now remember to keep that in mind while writing your content. Keep the sentences or paragraphs short and have one idea per paragraph, this will keep the reader engaged throughout your site. Don't forget your SEO essentials, H1 tags, bolds, and italicized for your keywords. Keep it moderate and do not overuse. SEO over-optimizing can be a killer, so beware of how much you are using these. Remember to think of your visitor before the search engines. They are your first priority.

Your website is complete, you let it loose and SEO really starts. The important part to remember is that SEO is an exercise in patience. It may take up to a 6 months before you are seen on the search engines and even then you may not see first page placement. Have a budget, whether it be for PPC or organic SEO. You will need to get your site seen. We always recommend writing articles, reading blogs and commenting leaving your signature. Find forums and be active. Get your name out there. Content is one side of internet marketing but link development is your ace in the hole. Think outside the box, look for ways that your website is different than your competitors and make people want to link to your site. Keep in mind the more your put your site out there, the more you will be found!
